Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Room We had to plan a fast trip to Plano, and were able to get a room at this Holiday In Express. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was not bad either. It was very busy the weekend we stayed. I do recommend this place. August 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by COLD Air Conditioner Clean, good quality furnishings. Staff was very friendly. Air conditioner worked VERY well, but was a little noisy. My only complaint is that breakfast is not served earlier, especially seeing that this location is near hospitals and MANY people staying here must be at hospitals so early. But... I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Thank You August 5, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Attitude and Service Being a Platinum Elite rewards member with staying more than 100 nights per year should warrant the best price possible. Additionally, having attained this level of customer loyalty provides customers with automatic upgrades. While checking in at the front desk another potential guest asked the night manager for the rates. The potential guest started to walk away and the night manager offered the same room that I was booking for $20.00 less. I had to ask for threaten to leave to get the same rate while the night manager "Rachel" huffed and got nasty. I should have also been offered an upgrade, bonus points etc.... None of the procedures that are to be covered with Platinum customers were followed. I will not return to this property due to Rachel's attitude. July 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rough Start I arrived at the property at 1:00 am. Long day of work and travel. Was given a room on the first floor. Went to the room but the key did not work. Went back to the front desk and was given another key. It was strange in that she simply picked a key from a small box and did not program a key like I am use to seeing them do. Went back to the room and the key did open the door. However, the deadbolt was in place, meaning someone was already in the room. I closed the door and went back to the front desk. I explained what had happened to the desk clerk that she might be getting a call from someone that their door had been opened. She responded by saying, "I am sure they slept though it". She was not too concerned at all. I received a new room and key. Everything was fine from that point on. However, it was a rough start. Not one I ever want to go through again. July 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! Traveling a lot you get to experience different cities and within those cities you get to stay in different hotels around the nation. One thing that many hotels lack in is “professionalism”. From the moment I called Holiday Inn (Which I was extremely early from check-in time), I noticed that the gentleman answering the phone was sharp! By sharp I mean he was on it, he knew exactly what he was talking about he answered all my questions and he took control of the call. When I finally arrived at my destination the same gentleman was at the front desk; shirt iron nicely (you be surprise how little things like this makes a corporation look bad) well groomed, and very easy to talk to. Gentleman checked me in without a hiccup and from there on everything went well. 2 thumbs up! I apologize for not remembering his name, but I believe he is the only male in the front desk. A couple of notes that I didn't take the time to let you know when I was there is that I had to always pull the toilet handle up so that it wouldn't continuously run. Also, when I dropped something and went to reach under the bed to get it, there was a dirty rolled up sock from a previous guest. June 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Updated Hotel We stayed one night at this hotel. They had recently finished a remodel and it looks very nice. The breakfast area is very pretty with a huge chandelier. The breakfast was hot and had a variety of food. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were better than most. Recognized as a platinum member and did not even need to request an upgrade. The location is great to get on the tollway and is only a few minutes drive to one of the shopping malls. I would definitely recommend it to others. May 31, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed I left my room at 9 am and returned at 3 pm, my room still had not been cleaned. I went the Front Desk but no one was there. Luckily the Dir of Sales was close by so I was able to tell someone. The treadmill in the workout room is very old and I was afraid to run on it because I thought it would break. Breakfast was tasty. The biscuits were very good. Will try to another hotel next time I am in Dallas. May 18, 2014

I have frequented this property for years, from when it was new, through the recent remodel, and still use it today. It covers all the important bases required for a comfortable stay. But, more obvious than anything else, and is to be expected every visit, is the warm and pleasant greeting you will receive each time you pass the front desk. The experience is twice as pleasant as any other property I frequent. This crew has raised the bar for "hospitality"! April 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty bedding and bugs Booked this for wife and daughter and when they checked in they noticed the bedding was dirty with some sort of crusty substance on the comforter. it was eventually changed the next day after complaining to front desk. Also...on their first morning there were dead roaches in the floor. They reported it to the front dest and when they returned for their second night of sleep, the roaches were still there Are you kidding me.... Clean your rooms and RE-clean when guest complain March 25, 2014
