Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feel welcomed My job includes extensive travel so the quality of a property becomes more significant than normal. I have frequented this property for years, from when it was new, through the recent remodel, and still use it today. It covers all the important bases required for a comfortable stay. But, more obvious than anything else, and is to be expected every visit, is the warm and pleasant greeting you will receive each time you pass the front desk. The experience is twice as pleasant as any other property I frequent. This crew has raised the bar for "hospitality"! April 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty bedding and bugs Booked this for wife and daughter and when they checked in they noticed the bedding was dirty with some sort of crusty substance on the comforter. it was eventually changed the next day after complaining to front desk. Also...on their first morning there were dead roaches in the floor. They reported it to the front dest and when they returned for their second night of sleep, the roaches were still there Are you kidding me.... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My FAVORITE place to stay in Plano Had to be in Dallas during the ice storm in December. The friendly staff at HI Express turned the extremely bad weather into a very pleasant trip. Every night I looked forward to getting back to the hotel and just relaxing in a very clean room where the heater and water were warm. The beds are clean and comfortable with fluffy double-sheeted comforters. The internet was great so I could finish up some business. In the mornings, there's a nice variety for breakfast and the staff was over-the-top helpful at getting fresh food out when needed. This is the only place I'll stay when having to overnight in Plano!! ps. This place is a showcase of how a hotel should be done., March 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall experience I stay at this Holiday Inn Express often and have never had an issue of any kind. Staff always friendly and professional, obliging in every way. This hotel is not the most convenient for my purposes but well worth the extra effort to stay here. If I could change one thing, I would have them prepare bacon more often for breakfast. Get a little tired of sausage. However, the breakfast offerings are top notch and presented freshly each day. Take my word for it. If you are Plano, Tx area and need a nice place to stay at a good price, this Holiday Inn Express is the place to be. March 19, 2014

Everybody including breakfast cooking / cleaning folks, housekeepers met in the stairwell, and especially the front desk employees were very friendly and service oriented. The staff is extremely nice and make you feel like family. They also go out of their way to be helpful. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. I especially like the well maintained rooms and how quite they are. I am in hotels over 200 nights a year in many different cities but this one is by far my favorite! February 15, 2014

Upon checking in, there was no mention of my reward status and I had to ask for a complimentary upgrade as it was not mentioned. I was then given a "suite", which had a sofa and chair, but the bed was not in a seperate area. I was also given a complimentary bottle of water. The decor was nice in the breakfast area and in the rooms. The rooms had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The only negative thing I could say about this stay was that when I went to use the microwave it was dirty. There was a dried clump of food on the turntable. Also in the bathtub near the overflow drain there was an area of reddish spots and I was not sure if it was dirty or just an old rust area. But if we ever stay in the area of Plano in the future I would still consider staying there. December 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly, helpful service Recently, I had the opportunity to stay 4 consecutive nights at the Holiday Inn Express. I found everyone to be extremely friendly and helpful. Employees went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and to treat us as friends. I have never known of a hotel to provide free shuttle service to events within a given radius, but this is what was offered. We were shuttled to and from our meetings each day and to and from our chosen place for dinner each evening. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. September 29, 2013

We stay here every time and we've never had a problem. Its quiet and just off the service road from the George Bush Turnpike. Easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I had samples arrive prior to my arrival and they were put in my room; I requested a specific room location and they arranged it; I needed special help printing and they were there to help! And I would like to add without any negative attitude or feeling I was bothering them. It was an attitude of I want to help! Thank you to the staff!! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I stay at Holiday Inn Express/Holiday Inn almost exclusively when I travel, which is on average 15-20 nights a year. This particular Holiday Inn Express was a disappoinment. Despite the signs all over their office and behind their counter that friendly service is a must, that was not was I saw. They were not rude, just not helpful. The first problem came at check in when my information had not been transmitted correctly (I understand this is not their fault) so the room I had reserved was not what I received, my priority club number was not included and the one special request I had was not transmitted. I ended up having to reserve and pay for a second room in order to accommodate my family. The gentleman at the desk was not helpful at all and did little to apologize. I also was told I did not have the ability to find another hotel since I had already checked in (literally walked into my room and walked right back out). Two of the five nights we were there, our room was not cleaned. We did have the "Do Not Distrurb" sign up for approximately 45 minutes each day for my son's nap, but otherwise we weren't even in the room. When I asked the front desk about it, they were unable to help other than to give me clean towels. Also, it seemed as if the staff at the breakfast area were more interested in watching TV then with keeping the breakfast area stocked. Overall, not a bad experience, I was just disappointed because I normally love Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express and have come to expect terrific customer service. So, I admit, my standards are high. When I brought my less than good experience up with two different staff members, they appeared as if they didn't even care and basically ignored my comment. Knowing the experience I've had at other Holiday Inn Express locations, I will choose a different option on my next trip to the Dallas area. August 12, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay--Would recommend! I stayed here for over a week due to my mom having surgery at the Texas Back Institute. They give a discount if you are a patient there. Staff was so nice and helpful. Rooms are very nice. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of sausage/gravy, biscuits, cereal, pancakes, etc. I felt very safe inside and out of the hotel. There are restaurants very close and a mall practically next door. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again. August 7, 2013
