Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kwesters we attended a concert that ended much later than we expected. we didn't arrive to the hotel until after midnight. we didn't have a chance to let the front desk know we'd be arriving late. when we got there, our room was ready and waiting, and it was more than we could have imagined. our only regret is that we didn't arrive earlier so we could enjoy it. we went immediately to bed and woke early for the long drive home. will definitely return. thanks. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Vacation We recommend this Hotel to everyone. It has been upgraded within the last few years and they did a good job. We arrive and the first night and had trouble with the shower which could not be repaired. The hotel upgraded us to a room on the same floor which happened to be a suite for our 11 day stay. Good management , friendly staff. Don't miss this one if you are in the area. Peter & Pat February 12, 2014

It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the furnishings were pleasant. Most of all, the staff was fantastic! Dennis from the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Sharon, one of the housekeepers was delightful and anxious to please. I would certainly stay here again. February 12, 2014

I had been there for 4 days and since the begining horrible experience. the hotel is a nonsmoking hotel, but my room was smeling cigarete, so we moved to another one where the bathroom was not so clean with many hairs in the floor. The housekeeping was horrible. There were 2 ladies cleaning the room in a bad mood, they threw the towels in the bathroom with no order or minimum care. They cleaned the room in three minutes. The frontdesk (Name: Abi) was not nice as the frontoffiice use to be. February 1, 2014

One a.m. picked up a USA Today which was a day old,...I asked the day attendant\ " do you have todays paper/: the answer was a plain cold "no"........... it was about 7-7:15 a.m. I think I would have said;' not yet should be delivered soon " or "sorry they have not delivered it , should be here soon" etc. January 30, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! I stayed at this hotel in November of 2013. I had a great experience. The highlight of my stay was experiencing the never-ending hospitality from the staff. Two staff members (Abi and Noel in particular, I may have misspelled the names) were really helpful and even went out of their way with helping me have my suit dry cleaned by the hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Executive king with microwave - but not! Me and my family had great 9 day pre cruise vacation at Holiday Inn Express Plantation. We had booked a room gor 3 but there was just 1 bed and no sofa. The guy who was doing the check in asked me if it was ok me, my husband and our daughter to share the same king bed.... Of course ut wasn't. We'd booked a room for 3 and I believed we would have a bed and a sofa... The hotel was sold out, we could not change rooms but a hollaway bed was provided. When we got to the room there were no microwave, frot desk personel apologises and informed there were nothing they could do til monday (it was saturday). On monday I had to go to the front desk 3 times to request the microwave. They said the could provide that for extra Us10,00/day and I had to print the reservatin confirmation email to show that a mictowave was included in my rate! They should give a discout for the 3 days I was payong for a room that should have a microwave! There were some othwr litle mistakes and wrong information from front desk but the hotel is nice, good breakfast, good pool, quiet neighborhood, near shopping mall, outlet, restaurants and supermarket. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay ever at Holiday Inn Express I stayed at this location for 3 nights early January 2014 with my wife and 2 young daughters, and it was the worst stay ever at a Holiday Inn Express ! Just to give you a few of the issues : - No special treatment for Platinum guest - No internet in room when we checked in, advised front desk who told us all was OK, we weren't doing it right which was incorrect has the whole internet service in the hotel was down ... - Sofa bed was not made, we called to have it made, we were advised housekeeping had already gone for the day, … when they were still on our floor ! - Requested late check-out, we were granted an extra hour (from regular 11AM to … noon, wow ! - Pancake machine didn’t work on Saturday and Sunday morning - The noise level was most annoying, especially with 2 small children trying to sleep, we were still being inconvenienced at 2AM - Sheets were dirty (blood stain) - Our daughter spotted some bugs in the kitchen area … Very poor value for the amount paid. We are extremely disappointed, and we will never be returning to this location again. January 9, 2014

The hotel itself is a bit aged and equipment such as luggage carts could use an update. I have stayed at this hotel a couple times a year for the last 5 years. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay but staff needs some help Stayed in a suite - me, my wife, and 4 adult boys. We needed bedding for the hid a bed. None in the room. No staff was available to help except security and he took me to the laundry area and showed me that there were no blankets left - really!? So I took several extra sheets and finally I found a couple blankets with holes in them in the laundry area. Other than that the stay was good. December 30, 2013

I have stayed at other hotels in the Plantation/Sunrise area and for the money paid, this is one of the best experience. Check- in was fast and easy as was the check-out service. There were also ample breakfast choices. I was in the area mainly for shopping purposes and just about all the places I wanted to shop at were in close vicinity. This was a plus for me and for anyone who stayed with a vehicle. If I am in the area again I will be staying at this Holiday Inn property. December 30, 2013

Our room was downgraded to the lowest level - from a King to a two-double-bed (not even queens) - because all pets are housed on the first floor and no King was available, even though we booked well in advance. It's always a bad idea to group pets in the same area because they attract each others attention and that agitates them. We have traveled all over the east coast with our dog and only had trouble when the hotel insists on grouping pets together. The in-room coffee service offered only very small, very thin Styrofoam cups, and the (very loud) bathroom exhaust fan was forced on when the light was turned on. We were also housed on the meeting room floor and could hear the meeting going on three doors away. We have stayed at another IHG property nearby and had none of these issues, so this was a surprise and a disappointment. December 30, 2013

I am so glad I selected this hotel, I wanted to celebrate Christmas with just my kids, I wanted to do something different this year. I wanted to enjoy them and spend quality& quiet time with them, watch them open up their gifts and see the smiles on their faces. Oh Man it was a joy!! I chose this hotel to celebrate Christmas with my kids alone, and to see the smiles on their faces when they open up their gifts. I wanted to do something different with them this year, to spend quality time and a quiet moment just me and them they enjoy me and I enjoy them they had a awesome time. They loved this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Overnight Stay We stayed at your hotel while attending a Memorial service for my brother. We were extremely satisfied with our experience at the Plantation Holiday Inn Express. We had called the night before our arrival to check if an early check-in might be possible as we were traveling 3 hours from the west coast of Florida and preferred not to travel in our good clothes if possible. I spoke with Karen who said that should be alright. When we checked in the young lady at the desk noticed my husband's Platinum Priority card and upgraded us to a suite, without our even asking. This proved a wonderful plus as we were able to spend time with my sister and our niece & nephew after the Memorial in a very comfortable setting. I am only sorry I didn't get this young lady's name as she was so definitely a credit to your organization! December 16, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Usually A Great Place I stay at this location often however this time it was memorable for the lack of attention. Given I am a Platinum member with Priority Club, I am greeted as such and thanked, told of my point balance and given a goody bag with water and a snack. This is not something that I usually make a big deal of other than to thank the person checking me in. In this case none of that was done though the lady at the counter that spoke very broken English was more interested in helping out a family member that was there for some reason with her wifi on her phone and giving her two bottles of water. Ill stay here again but would rather stay at the one about two miles north on the same road. November 23, 2013
