I booked two rooms at 6:pm and at 9:00pm they room with two double beds was not available.

We highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express at Playacar! The rooms were very well maintained and extremely comfortable. The staff were always courteous and most helpful. This is our 3rd time staying at this HIExpress and we plan on going back again in the near future! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with the best brewed coffee in the area.

The hotel itself is very close to 5th Avenue the "main street." They were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast buffet was decent but if you ask the ladies nicely they will scramble some fresh eggs up for you and bring them out to you. :)

The room was clean and large. The location was a bit isolated and not having the restaurant going out in the evening for diner was a bit annoying if you are tired and you wish to relax. The breakfats was not as fresh as expected! Also the courtesy shuttle downton was one way while it could have been organised in a better way. Not particularly cheap but in line with the area!

Excellent, excellent breakfast, and complimentary with stay.
Other than that, not the best hotel, but reasonably convenient from various points of view
PROS
1. Excellent breakfast (mentioning this once again)
2. Good tour operator on site
3. Hotel is on bus pickup route
4. Good WiFi in lobby
CONS
1. Rude staff (not all of them, but some of them were blatantly rude, and were making fun of us instead of greeting us with a welcome when we first landed at the hotel)
2. Poor to non-existent WiFi in room
3. No ATM or convenience shops nearby
4. Too far away from town for a pleasant/safe walk
5. Too expensive to take cab to town
