Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and staff I was very impressed with the service and friendlyness. When checking in, the young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. She was able to give me good advice on restaurants in the area and even voluntarily gave me the weather, which was appreciated. In the morning I was very impressed with the work of Sherry. She made sure to say goodmorning and take care of each of her customers. From all the hotels I've stayed in, I can honestly say that Sherry has been the nicest breakfast host and puts the extra effort to please everybody. February 26, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not the normal Express Horrible service. They do not recognize Platinum members or do they upgrade priority club members unless you ask. In the standard rooms they do not have a fridge or microwaves or have any to give you. I am a platinum and Ambassator member with PC and I was told that if I wanted a fridge I should have booked a suite. Talked to other guests and they all said this is not the normal HIE. I could go on and on but won't waste my time. Next time I will stay in SouthBend... February 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wendy's? Apart from a 2-3 day old sandwich left in the fridge, the room was clean. Although requesting a warm room, the heat was set at 63 and the room was cool. Jacuzzi was good, but if it would have run longer with shorter off intervals, that would have been better. A little on the expensive side, but still a satisfactory stay. January 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel With Excellent Staff I stayed here for two nights on business. The staff was outstanding throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom did smell a bit smokey. I figured it was from the breakfast area and it didn't really affect my stay. Overall this is a great hotel and I will definitely stay there again. December 16, 2012

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Super 8 type accomadations The staff had my priority club status wrong and wouldn't change it. At 100 nights a year in a hotel, you would not investigate or change it. This is not the clerks fault, but the system. Entering the room was difficult as the lock was hanging up and I had to kick the door to get it to open each time. The room was acceptable but had no soap or shapmoo furnished. The shower head did not function properly in all but one position and was terribly corroded. The pool was brown like creek water and had silt lying on the bottom. The coffee was luke warm and close to empty. In my job, I get yelled at all day long every day and the last thing I want to do is treat someone the same way. The problem is that this property was disappointing when compared to the standards I have come to expect with a National chain around the country. October 23, 2012
