Upon check in the front desk attendant was nice, but had little knowledge of places to eat. This is disappointing to out of town guests.
The next morning at breakfast was chaos. I went down to breakfast at 8:00 (breakfast goes till 10:00) many items were low or out. Eggs were out, bread, milk, and bagels down to the last one or two. Being a home Notre Dame, breakfast was busy. Guests were waiting around for items to be filled. This should not happen. The breakfast attendant never spoke. There was no "good morning" "how are you". I was disappointed in the property's ability to keep up with the breakfast crowd at prime breakfast time and on a busy game day morning.
The young lady at the front desk on Saturday morning was very pleasant and friendly.
As a platinum member I have stayed a many IHG properties around the country. This stay did not meet my expectations.

I found my stay to be adequate and pleasant. I stayed only one night and received a bill for the price quoted at time of reservation. Then on my credit card statement there was a charge for two nights and a charge for one night. We waited to see if it was corrected and unfortunately it was the one night charge that was removed leaving us over charged. Over many days of phone calls and messages it is now resolved. But I was told repeatedly that it had been taken care of and I should go through my bank's process for contesting the charge. When I finally reached a higher level of management and threatened to go even higher it was suddenly taken care of. This is not good customer service.

We have stayed at this hotel for three years for athletic competitions in area. Despite being told there were fridge, microwave and phones in room, we found no functioning phone jacks (corroborated by maintenance), no fridge and no micro. We were able to use micro near vending machines Friday and Saturday until that disappeared Saturday night? Ice machine was not working on first floor (where we stayed) we went up to third floor to keep getting ice for our cooler---- since we had no fridge. We always stay three days and 2 nights and bring our own food as we leave hotel before 6 and return late in evening.
Despite the unusual lack of amenities, the staff was extremely helpful and responsive, trying to make up for room issues.
Brenda and Jackie on the front desk went out of their way to accommodate us as best they could and the manager also followed up and gave us very generous deduction on room rate.
Will we stay again? Yes, the location, amenities and staff have been very, very commendable in the past and we hope this year's stay was just a fluke. We appreciate the consideration and attention the staff gave to issues when approached. The cleanliness and comfort of room made up for lack of usual appliances/etc..
