Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best pillows ever!!!!!! I have stayed in many hotels in Sandpoint and this is by far my favorite. We stayed in an immaculate suite that is layed out well so the kids can watch one TV and we can watch another. Super comfortable beds with the best pillows I have ever used. I asked if they sold the pillows and they do not. How sad. Very friendly staff. The stay was excellent except for the breakfast bar. Both mornings the heated eggs and meats were both empty and not refilled until we were done eating and heading out. The attendant was rarely seen and most of her time seemed taken up with refilling the pancake machine. There was some grumbling among people that wanted the warm food but we just made do with the other stuff. A bit more attention to filling the empty trays would have been nice. That little glitch should not put you off from staying there. This is the only Sandpoint hotel I will stay in from now on. September 3, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by poor internet access Almost everything is good at this hotel but if you need to use the internet don't count on it. If I choose to stay here its better to go to a hotspot rather than use the hotel internet, it is simply the worst service available. September 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, great breakfast variety, close to Schweitzer We stayed here two separate nights traveling too and from Canada on vacation to break up our drive. Both stays were great, we had great service. The breakfast is standard HI Express, but was well stocked. The hotel is the closest hotel to Schweitzer, unless you stay up on the mountain. The internet was pretty slow, but fast enough for emails and web browsing. I would have given the room/comfort category a perfect score because the beds and pillows and everything was very comfortable; however we had folks walking heavily somewhere nearby (not above us) which was distracting. The front desk was very good at trying to find the source of the noise and helping quiet it down. September 2, 2014

The front desk was very helpful in learning about choices for dining locally, even pulled out a map and identified the best places to eat and what kind of food was served. Have stayed here many times over the last 5 years at different times throughout the year and even in the winter everything is kept very clean. Breakfast is as to be expected with a free breakfast.
