Can't say enough about the place. Friendly staff, clean and neat inside and out. The only place like it in Northern Idaho.

I would stay at this Holiday Inn again. Be aware of train noise during the night. Friendly staff and very clean facility.

Have never had a bad experience with HIE but the manager at the location in Sandpoint was particularly pleasant. All areas and amenities were well maintained and very clean.

If you're looking for a place to stay after you've been skiing all day during the winter months or after playing on the water all day during the summer months, this is your place. It's close enough to both without being right on top of it. Convenience and quality in the same package.
A comfortable bed awaits you after your long day of playing in the sand or the snow. But before you hit the pillow, walk next door to the rustic decorated and highly recommended Sweet Lou's. Great food and many choices of your favorite frosty adult beverages await.
All this and free parking! A very welcome surprise for someone from Chicago that is used to having to pay to park everywhere.
