Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it should do Spot on HI express. Value for money, and decent and friendly staff. Pretty good rooms, and overall a decent experience. Not the best of locations, but OK. It's a bit of a stroll if you want to find anything other than the hotel when it comes to food. However, take away's available, and staff ready to help. Even the hotel Pizza was good. November 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff but average stay We stayed here for 4 nights on a walking holiday. We paid for a "superior" room because we wanted a bigger than double bed. The bed was a double and the mattress was spongy. We just put up with it but wished we'd done something as soon as we arrived because we slept badly while we were there. Check the bed is all you've paid for! The breakfast is ok but the only hot dish is sausages and scrambled eggs - ok if you're staying one night on business but not if you're there for 4 days. After filling in the review, it says we give it 4/5 stars but feel 3/5 is a better reflection on our stay. The staff were always helpful and cheerful. November 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Very close to Poole centre, near the greyhound track. Lovely inside. Superior room is more like a normal double room in any other hotel. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as they only had in terms of hot food...sausages, beans and scrambled eggs plus toast. They had other cold cereal and fruit etc. But it was still delicious, I just love hash browns and bacon. The people were nice. November 11, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by lovely staff staff at holiday inn poole are very professional and are always happy to help whenever we needed help. they come greeting you with smiles. i would recommend this hotel to family and friends. the only thing i was not happy with was the smell in the room. the room needed some air fresheners and the corridors too. over all i was happy and would use this holiday inn again November 5, 2015
