My buddies and I come to Port Aransas every year. This year we were able to stay in the suites on the 1st floor. We had two rooms. Very nice. I would like to get those again! Let me know.

We're a family of four and stayed for 3 nights. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the swimming pool and hot tub were great after our daily visit to the beach. They had some wifi problems one morning but it was corrected quickly. We plan on coming back and this will be our first choice.

I stay at your hotel quite a bit as well as other Holiday Inn Exp. and I'm always happy with the hotels. However, I've never been thrilled about your cinnamon smelling soap. I think it's a harsh smell and I don't like smelling cinnamon, so when the Port Aransas hotel changed their soap to a softer aroma, THANK YOU!!! Wish you would go to no sent or something lighter then cinnamon in all Holiday Inn's, but at least the Port A hotel is a start.

Nice stay, helpful staff BUT
I still does not like the plastic plates, plastic glasses and plastic spoons used for the breakfast. In one hand they ask you to keep the towel several days to preserve our Earth, that s fine. I keep them a week at home. Bur I am wondering if all this breakfast plastic load are environment friendly. I would also njoy an healthier breakfast. The breakast organization has to be reviewed. The Toaster was not working properly.
I have been charged before arrival. Fine it was planned. But cost for entire stay had been debited one more time on arrival. Hopefully, i have been refunded quickly.
Overall rating remains positive.

Poor ac, facility needs extensive updating . Wi Fi non existent in the room, had to go stand in the hallway just to get email. Fruit truck never made delivery, etc.
Staff tried hard and very apologetic.
Owner should copy Fredericksburg facility.

One of the darkest hotel rooms ever rented in my 50 years of travel.
At breakfast most likely out of decaf coffee and cinnamon rolls were cold more often than not.
Have stayed at this hotel several times since it opened and, sadly, is now showing signs of poor maintenance. Not what you would expect from a Holiday Inn property.
Desk clerk exhibited poor customer service skills/attitude when we extended our stay for additional day......

Kudos to the ENTIRE staff at HIExpress Port Aransas. My husband stays with HI frequently for business, so we decided to try for R&R also. Front desk staff was awesome, gave good directions, suggestions, and asked for feedback to aid other guests. Also ran into another family from our area - so good taste in accommodations is contagious! Will stay again when going to the coast!

walked in and it was very clean, the only problem was when we walked in we didn't have the credit card that we per paid with due to it being my bosses because he paid for our honeymoon. we dealt with that for a while and finally after having him on the phone for 15 min and talking to the supervisor. we were bumped up from a king room to a king suite. after that the rest of the time was amazing the staff was great, and couldn't ask for more. ill differently be staying here again. it was very clean.

On an October and recent December visit, the TV was unable to get channels we wanted that were listed in the guide. Staff said the cable boxes needed to be upgraded.
this was important because we had small grandchildren with us who can only watch certain tv channels.

Was very nice, good people, food. Breakfast lady a bit over the top. I like privacy, she wanted to chit chat. But, that is just me. Good room, great location. Super quiet during off season. Would stay again.

My mother (87 with a walker) and I drove 900 miles to attend a funeral. On arrival we learned about my Platinum upgrade and the special care continued for 2-1/2 days.
The hotel is convenient to the beach and other areas of Port A. It's quiet, comfy, clean, good water pressure, and has a terrific outdoor private pool area.
We will definitely return when we visit family in Port Aransas. Thanks for the VIP treatment!

This is a new hotel within walking distance to the beach. The hotel is very clean and had a "new and clean" smell all throughout the hotel. The swimming pool and hot tub area were likewise clean, quiet and relaxing.
I arrived early and once the staff learned of my platinum status I was immediately checked in and given a room upgrade. I ended up in one of the suites which was very spacious and comfortable. Along with the room upgrade i also took advantage of the late checkout, free newspaper, and goodies bag (Chips, candy and water) as part of the Platinum experience. This hotel certainly makes it worth being a Platinum member.
the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. They had great recommendation for local attractions and places to eat.
I would have given this hotel top ratings across the board but I feel the value I paid for the room could have been better. I booked this room through the PCR website on their "Best Rate GUARANTEE", a week later the website had the same room listed for $35 less and of course I couldnt cancel because I had already paid. If i had gotten the room for $35 less this would definitely have been a GREAT deal. However, the hotel is still a good value at the higher rate.
I will definitely come back to this hotel!

I arrived at 2:30pm and the front staff said the official check in time is 3:00pm and asked us to come back after 3:00pm with not very friendly voice. We were waiting outside and realized that she soon started check in for other guests before 3:00pm. I wsa not happy.
