Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Mattress was rough The hotel was nice and so was the staff,the lady at the desk helped me with my blisters on my toes, she gave me a sterile sewing needle kit and band-aids and triple antibiotic ointment, which relieved my pain with my blisters July 5, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointment in IHG Brand Definitely had the feeling that since this hotel is located in a tourist destination they are trying to get every last cent before doing a remodel. I stay in a lot of Holiday Inn Express with both business and leisure travel and will say this location was a disappointment to the IHG Brand. It reminded me of the Holiday Inn's of the past. Some good features but rooms had the run down feel. When entering the room and seeing the bathrooms it makes you feel like the rooms have filth in them. Was surprised to have this experience as Holiday Inn Express has really stepped up on renovations and hospitality. Just because you are located in a tourist destination which will bring customers should not allow for the hotel to drop the ball on quality service. You need to step the game up for the IHG Brand. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort, convenience and service For travelers between Chicago and D.C., this is the ideal stopover, halfway between the two destinations. The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully clean. The bed was incredibly supportive and comfortable…went to bed at 9PM, did not wake until 6AM and i never sleep 9 hours!!! Although the facility does not have dining facilities, there are numerous nearby and the front desk staff provides a listing of these facilities. Very nice breakfast offered. The only downsides were the mayflies…however, this only happens once a year..and the lack of smartphone connectivity using AT&T as the carrier. This will be my stopover in future trips. June 26, 2015
