Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noise This is my second time at this hotel on a weekend. Each time 'guests' are leaving kids in rooms alone so they can go down to smoking/party area under building to party on. Their kids then proceed to run riot in and out of their rooms with no control. This goes on up to very late at night....To any business traveller who is after good nights rest I would recommend going to another hotel. I am a platinum member and visit many hotels so I feel qualified in giving this comment. August 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by More comfortable than my bed at home I felt totally pampered-as if staying at a luxury resort. The mattress was absolutely wonderful. The choice of pillow (firm or soft) was an added bonus and the towels are large and soft.. All the "little things" from the refrigerator to the shampoo and lotions were top rate. I will seek out your hotels for all future lodging needs. Thanks so much. PS: I only had 1 problem..the bed was so comfortable I overslept causing me to leave later than planned the next morning ..It was worth it!! August 18, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Go to breakfast EARLY!!!!!! The room was clean and comfortable. The service was horrible. They stopped serving breakfast 30 minutes early. I got the excuse they had used their daily allotment of breakfast items and "management" won't allow them to use more. There seems to be a lot of oilfield workers staying there, so they eat a lot??? Anyway, they ran out of batter for the pancake machine, so they put a sign on it "Waiting for Parts." I have stayed here 10 or 12 times in the last year and service gets worse each time. Guess I'll start staying at some of the new hotels in Victoria. April 26, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Price Jump I have been staying here on business for a few weeks at a AAA rate. Then suddenly two weeks ago the price goes up by $27/night. I was upset and complained to management and was given some priority points and membership club snacks. When I went to make another reservation for this week the price was going to go up another $18/night. I had no choice but to look elsewhere. I am on a fixed hotel limit from work and while the price was originally a reasonable rate, the new price is not. A co-worker called for a hotel room today and was quoted a rate that was almost double what I originally was paying. Needless to say I am staying at the competitor in town now. The room and accomodations are the same and the price is equal to the initial price I was paying at this hotel. February 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Outside spa I just love the outside spa. Sitting there by the Port Lavaca Bay & feeling the breeze just sweeps all my cares & worries away. It is very much a relaxing experience. I look forward to this when I visit this Hotel. Actually, the ouside spa is the reason I stay at this hotel often on my business trips. I do wish they had more choices on the tv & breakfast menus. If you enjoy the water or being close to the water- this is the place to stay. January 28, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Business I spent two busy days in Port Lavaca and this hotel, its unusual egress notwithstanding, is a nice place to stay. Room decor is a little garish but it is located next to a nice seafood/sports bar restaurant and bar so the decor was easy to overlook. I did not have breakfast in the hotel so I cannot comment on that. January 22, 2013

We did not get to our room until the evening and we were there 30 minutes when the front desk called to say we were making to much noise.(8:30p.m) my son was asleep, husband was reading the paper and I was on the bed reading a magazine. It was the room above us that was being noisy. They called again, we asked to speak to management but they were not on sight. The next morning the front desk said there were 5 complaints and several other people that complained. All before 10 p.m. The manager never met with us the next morning. We did ask for the corporate number but it was not given. I will not stay here again. Have other rooms booked at another holiday inn, may have to cancel those plans. October 11, 2012
