We had continual problems with keeping our rooms cool for the duration of our stay. It seems the hotel owners/management have put motion detectors in the rooms that activate the air conditioners. If there's not someone in the room, or if you are sleeping, the air conditioners quite cooling at the setting you put it on, and go back up to 26 C (79 F), which is much too warm for my friends and I to sleep comfortably at, which we didn't!
There also seemed to be a continual changing of procedures/rules. We had to order room service several nights because of getting back to our rooms late, after the restaurants closed. We were told room service would be brought to the Holiday Inn Express lobby from the Holiday Inn kitchen, and we could come down and pick the food up there. The first night we ordered room service, they called us from the Holiday Inn lobby (which is across the parking lot about 25 yards from the Holiday Inn Express) to come pickup our order, in the dark. The next night we ordered, they brought it to our hotel, the Holiday Inn Express's lobby. We still don't understand why they could not bring the food to our rooms. There were several other things that happened where the "rules" kept changing when we asked for or ordered something.
For the exorbitant price that was charged per night, this was the worst value in a hotel I've experienced. When we return to Port Moresby, we will be staying at another hotel....

Overall rating is very good, enjoyed staying. your underground car park is very good.
