The staff were super friendly. We got up late each day around 10:30 and breakfast was pretty much over by then. The rooms were clean and nice. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi had been filled and if the pool was warm. Our kids really wanted to swim but the pool was freezing and the jacuzzi empty.
No recognition of Priority Club Member but that didn't really bother us.

Very disappointed with the pool and the fact that the hot tub was out of service. Main reason why we stayed there was because of hot tub. Awful start of vacation

We were there in March 2013, a clean, comfortable and great value with exceptional service hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again. There is plenty to do in the area, beaches, fishing, shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

My room smelled like Lysol like it was used to cover up some bad smell, not a good clean smell.
My room did wireless connection was non-existent. I had to go to the lobby to get access.
The breakfast was not up to the standard of my other experiences at other Holiday Inn Expresses.
I will not stay here again although I will stay at the ones I've been to in Clearwater.
I have never been this disappointed in any hotel before.

Very enjoyable stay at ths hotel. Very clean, staff pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good. We had a little problem with our reservations, but it was handled promptly and to our satisfaction.

My Mom and I always stay at your hotel, when we come down to Fl. to see her brother, who lives in Port Richey! We couldn't be more welcomed. We have NEVER come into the hotel and met an unfriendly face. The folks at the front desk, particularly Jonathan and Gerald are the best.
It is a relaxed, laid back non-stressful feeling when we walk in the dood, no matter what time of the day or night thtat is!
Thank you for your wonderful service.
Let's not forget the breakfast! Traveling with my Mom, it's wonderful not to have to worry about another place to eat, and to be able to come right downstairs and find a great breakfast waiting for us.

Sad stay..... We had stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and was very pleased. Unfortunately their standards went down hill. A piece of furniture greeted us when we opened the door. it was huge with a micro wave on top. But the microwave could not be plugged in! I tried pushing it to a plug but it had a refrig in the unit, too. Coffee maker was broken. Shower rod was broken. It hung so low that it covered half the bathtub. Very tricky taking a
shower. I mentioned the microwave and coffee maker to the desk person. We were booked for 2 more nights. Unfortunately it did not get fixed. The next night I went and got the night clerk. He was really great and moved the piece of furniture. Also went to another room and got us a new coffee maker.

At the time of year that I had my last stay the temperature was very comfortable outside which afforded me the opportunity to run just the fan, with no heat or A/C. The (white noise) from the fan not only drowned out any other noises but enabled a sound sleep. Wall or window A/C units tend to disturb sleep with their on again off again sequence, but not this time. Slept very soundly.

My husband and I have stayed in many HI Express hotels and usually find them more than adequately suited to our needs and desires. In this particular hotel our room was the smallest we've ever encountered, and the furniture seemed old, including the mattress. Initially the room was very clean, yet I do not believe the bathroom floor was vacuumed nor mopped during our four-night stay, as the same hair and shoe prints remained. On the bathroom door hung the usual, "...Please help us save the environment by reusing your towels...just hang them back up...," yet there were no bars from which to hang our towels! We certainly were not going to re-fold them and place them back on the shelves. The noise from US19 was very noticeable. One morning (9:30) I went for breakfast, and there were no eggs, nor either decaf or regular coffee. I had to let the very sweet lady know about the coffees, and she promised more eggs would be out soon, which they were. The next morning (9:40), there were no eggs, and the same lady said there would be no more. If you say you will serve breakfast until 10:00, then you should have everything available until 10:00. The staff was friendly and helpful with dining out suggestions, and the location was convenient for us. We probably will use this hotel again, and I will request that the floors be vacuumed and/or mopped daily.

During our stay at this Holiday Inn, we felt very comfortable in our room. We stayed 4 nights in Room 316, a corner King Bed suite - quiet and spacious. The bathroom was very clean, even in the corners, with plenty of fluffy towels. The hotel is spotless including the hallways and elevators. Our family was in Florida for a family function and our daughter and son-in-law had reservations at the Homewood Suites just down the street. But after staying only one night there, then meeting us at the Holiday Inn and seeing our room, they promptly checked out of the Homewood and into the Holiday Inn whose staff gladly obliged them with a room. I must add the staff here are very obliging and quick to meet their guests needs. Very nice place to stay and also affordable.

We have stayed twice at this facility. Both times we have been very happy. Both stays were for a week and the visits were a year apart.
The first thing noticed was the facility is kept very well both inside and out.
It was great to see a familiar face in a year also. One of the managers was still there. Nice to see not a high turn over-that says a lot.
Clean, clean, clean. Comfy, quiet and great location.
We will go back next year for sure!

We enjoyed our week all except for the pool. Really wished the pool had been heated. They do have a heated hot tub, however.
Would also have appreciated laundry facilities, but we were directed to a nice laundromat nearby.

First off we called because we couldn't find it. The woman who answered our call was rather short and curt with her answer. When we entered the room we found no luggage holders or benches. The only place to unpack was on the floor. Next we went to the fourth floor to wash our clothes as this was the 4th night staying in HIE motels. The washer was out of order. The next morning when I was about to fix my cereal with a banana and yogurt , they had no bananas. From the reaction I received, I don't think they ever had any.
In our many stays at HIE this is the first time I have ever had to complain about anything. They are always our first choice.

This is an outstanding Holiday Inn Express. We had such nice experience in January 2011 that we came back again this January. The staff are very friendly, the hotel is Very Clean.

During our 5 night stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is amongst many restaurants and stores. Our room/suite was clean and comfortable. However, during our stay, the side door of the building was unaccessible, the outdoor heated jacuzzi did not work (and the staff let us figure this out for ourselves even after asking several of the staff why it wasn't heating up ), and the hand towels in the men's downstairs public bathroom for days was the downfall to our visit., It may sound trivial, but a simple sign on the jacuzzi and replenishing the hand towels are simple things the staff should have done. Also, we are Platinum Priority Club Members and we were given two waters for four people and did not recieve a welcome/goodie bag.

Location of this hotel was close to the Show Palace Diner theater in Hudson, Fl. Your hotel staff did a great job in helping us. They are very customer service orientated. Your breakfast bar was also very good. The room was clean & neat, (could use an update on some areas in the room, (old & worn). The bed was comfortable. We would recommend this hotel.

I could have lived with the lukewarm poor quality coffee if it were not for the large group of 8 year old football players and their very irresponsible parents who monopolized the hotel eating area and exercise area and business room (where they were not supposed to be). Be sure to ask if any groups are staying at the same time.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The slightest concern was addressed very timely and with a smile. I wanted to go to the movies and they got all of the information so that I did not have to do any research. They also moved a microwave and refrigerator into my room upon request. I would stay here again just because of the service...

I have stayed at this hotel several times for business and have always had a good experience. This time was not one of them. The A/C unit sounded like a train. Also, there was no hairdryer in bathroom. One of the electrical outlets did not work in the bathroom. There was also some sort of metal pin sticking out of the shower faucet making it difficult to turn on the shower. Unfortunately, the morning crew at the front desk seemed to care less. I must say that John the night manager was the bright spot on this visit as in past visits. Always courteous and professional.
