As always, we found our stay at HIE very satisfying! !! The staff was more then helpful, no need to ask for anything because they cover their bases before you arrive! ! Thank you Port Richey Holiday Inn Express!

Need to move smokers away from entry door. Wife has asthma, and there were 3 people smoking right outside of the entry door. Need to establish a smoking area that is at least 50 yards from the entry to the building.
Other than that, facility was very nice and clean.

Stayed in a comfortable queen-bed suite for an extended time. The room was nicely furnished including a refrigerator and microwave. The beds were very comfortable and towels were soft and plentiful. The room was kept very clean and the housekeeping ladies were friendly and considerate of our needs. Laundry facilities were conveniently nearby. We especially appreciated having breakfast available until 10 AM each day.
Manager, Natalie, always greeted us with a smile and was ready to assist us in any way. We were greeted with a hello and smile every AM by Rose and other friends working behind the counter, in the dining area, and even the maintenance man.
Had a great time and will definitely be back.

We loved the dining room and the friendly staff. We had omelets for breakfast one day!
Everyone was very friendly and we loved the 24hr coffee!!

This place was exceptional! I also stayed at another Holiday Inn Express in Oldsmar during my trip, and this hotel was by far much better and more friendly than the other one. I wish I had booked my entire stay here.

I am a minister and I travel a lot with my wife, who is also a minister, putting on conferences. We prefer to stay at an IHG hotel when we travel because we find them to be comfortable and clean with service oriented staff as a whole. This Holiday Inn Express in Port Richey is one of the best of the best! The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable; to the highest standard. However, it was the friendly and helpful staff that put this hotel on the 5 full star list for me.

We did have an issue with the fan and plumbing in our bathroom which didn't get resolved. The morning staff person offered us 5000 pts for our inconvenience, as of yet we have not received them.

But the bfast is clearly sub contracted out to some inadequate third party. Our two mornings suffered from lack of fresh supplies eg one day milk and sausages and the other day pancakes and sausages

One of my main criteria in hotels is cleanliness and this hotel certainly did well in that catergory....from the main lobby to the guest room. The staff were all very friendly and always acknowledged us whenever we met. We enjoyed the breakfast everyday .....in fact the coffee was superior. Our only "problem" was we didn't get any receipt for our stay. It was not put under the door by the time we left and when we went to the front desk to inquire about getting one she couldn't print one out for us and she took our email address and said she would send it to us via email as soon as she could figure out what was wrong......so far we haven't received it. Computer problems do happen and it wasn't a major thing for us but we would have liked to have a receipt. We were in Florida visiting relatives and we will definitly stay at this hotel again when we come back.

The staff: Diana, Rose and Kim were wonderful. They made cookies for the guests and gave us a Christmas card. We had never been away for Christmas but they made it homey. The breakfast was good and the server was very meticulous. When my mother needed a handicap room they sought out to find one. I will definitely return. Those ladies made the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The front desk called our room at 11:00 AM regarding checkout. We were in the process of determining if our travels would require another days stay. Accordingly, we requested a late checkout. The desk manager insisted that we make our decision immediately of leave. We reminded the desk manager that as a Priority Club Platinum Member, we were entitled to a late checkout privilege and were electing to use the option. To our "astonishment" she replied, "you'll decide and extend your stay now or leave, and if you don't leave, I'll call the police to have you removed". We register a written complaint with corporate Holiday Inn, something I have never had to do in all my many years of travel.

I travel a lot with my job and I can say through experience that this is one of the top places I've stayed. The staff is warm and welcoming! Diana always seems to be working when I come in (hard working girl# and you couldn't have a better welcome from anybody else. She goes above and beyond to be deeply kind and helpful and to make sure I'm getting all of my points, and just creates a comfortable atmosphere to be in. It really helps to make you feel at home when you're so far away from yours. Special thanks to her, Kim and Rose #the ones I see the most) for going above and beyond for me and my crew! These girls should be commended for all there hard work.

The bed needs to be replaced as it is very uncomfortable. There is a mini golf course next door that plays loud congo music until midnight everynight. There is a fire alarm system in the room with lights that kept us awake. My hip still hurts from the bed. I cannot say enough nice compliments about the staff they were very friendly and willing to please.

I absolutely love this place. Every time I am in the area i stay here. Very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is out of this world. 4 course full breakfast plus bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal and the list goes on and on.
I consider The Holiday Inn Express in Port Richey as home away from home. I will be back.

I frequently stay at this property and the staff is outstanding. I have trouble sleeping so they always accommodate my needs with a quiet room away from the traffic noise. I will continue to stay at this property when I am in the area.

Excellent customer service exhibited by Rose, Sonja, and Dianna. If you want concierge-type service at a great price, stay at this hotel. I resided here for approximately 2 months off-and-on for business and would recommend this location to anyone seeking value and quality.

The check in staff was a joke When i arrived they told me my room was prepaid and i told then it was not. After about 20 minutes of arguing that i needed to pay i finally gave up and just asked for me key to the room i was tired from the long days travel. When i get to the room it was not clean, beds not made and trash everywhere. i went back to the desk and they gave me another room.. This room ( as well as the 1st one) was a standard queen room... i reserved a queen suite.. i AGAIN returned to the desk and clerk informed me that is what i paid for so again im tired i go back to the room..late that evening the front desk calls and wants me to come the the office and was not very nice about it.. when i got to the desk ( a different person then before) I was rudely informed i did not pay for my room at check in and that i needed to pay now.. i tried to explain that i had been trying to pay before. he tried to chargeme for the room i reserved a suite but i was not in a suite and i was not going to pay for one. i was treated like i was trying to steal from him. i did not like itone bit and i am a platinum priority member and am thinking very seriously if i even want to contiue with this hotel chain. this is not the first time i have problems but this is the worst so far.

The hotel needs a deep cleaning. In lobby is a couch that has stains on the arms rest that made me feel ill after sitting down in it. Carpets look filthy. First room given to us was non smoking and stunk so bad from smoke. Room too hot to stay in and too warm at night to sleep. Couldn't get temperature down under 75. Air conditioner didn't seem to cool off the room.
