This was a stopover for my wife and I as we drove back to North Carolina from south Florida. We seem to have very good luck with IHG hotels lately; or maybe being a Spire Elite member helps. Anyway, we somehow got put into a king suite at the end of the corridor, so it was really quiet, the room was huge, allowing us to spread our stuff out, the carpets were near-new, the bathroom was very nice (and clean!), and the bed was so comfortable, we went back to sleep some more after breakfast. There was a very good restaurant in walking distance to the property-excellent seafood. You wouldn't think it was anything since it was a sheet metal building with neon signs in the windows (it was basically a bar with pool tables), but the food was excellent, and it was a safe place to bring kids or grandparents, especially if they like to shoot pool and eat crab legs. We will make a point to do our overnight stops here when we do the NC-Florida trip.

This hotel was conveniently located to I 95 which makes it perfect for travelers not wanting to waste time going far off the hgwy. It was spotlessly clean and very personable. The staff obviously cares about it. The help that we encountered (IE checkin etc and bkfst) were pleasant and capable. The room was fine with sparkling clean, pressed, bedlinen making it look really great. We'll go back again.

Stayed for a quick overnight break in route from Florida to North Carolina. Front desk check in clerk was super friendly and efficient. Room was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

The room was dark. The lighting, with all the lights on and the curtains and shears open, in the daytime, was extremely poor. The room accomodations were dark which certainly didn't help with the lighting.
Even the exterior structure did not lend itself as a desirable place for lodging. Had I not made the reservation in advance, I would have driven right on by and not given a thought to stopping.
The great thing about staying there was the staff. They offered help as best they could. They were friendly. They were courteous.
My guess the owner needs some education!

All the rooms had a weird smell to them and outdated. Staff was very helpful but when all the rooms are the same there isn't much they can do.

When walking into the door to register at guest services, I was welcomed by a staff member who made me feel so welcomed. It was so quick, I unloaded and went to my room and was welcomed with nice cool air, a clean room, a clean bathroom and a place I could just relax. The cable could have had more channels, but I still give it a high rating. The internet was great! Fast, easy to connect and a great connection. Shower/Bath was wonderful. Breakfast if I had time was great, from hot food to cold you had several choices. Pooler GA was not too far where you could go and dine, do some shopping. This location in my opinion was perfect. One thing I do recommend is do not try to cross the traffic. Just plat it safe, take a right and at the light make a U-Turn and if you are going south merge into traffic that way. If you are going North on I-95 there is a lane which I didn't learn until my last day to get into, just be careful of the cars that fly by you on the left.
