Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Traveling stress instantly removed We had been on the road for 11 hours and arrived in Knoxville at 5:00pm rush hour. In locating the nearest Holiday Inn Express, I approached the front desk where I was met with a fine looking, polite, young man. He asked how I was doing and I said I was very tired. He immediately went to work registering us. We were on our way up to our room within 5 minutes. 15 minutes later we were sitting in a local restaurant having a relaxing dinner and life was good again. We have made a note to definitely stop back to this hotel next year when we pass through again. Great experience!!! December 16, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Visit to Holiday Inn Express We try to make it a point to visit Holiday Inn Express hotels on our car travels. However, this visit was extremely disappointing compared to the one we visited In Knoxville a few weeks back. The hotel was older than most, the carpet had dust around the edges, the bathroom door was scuffed, and the presentation of breakfast was not typical of other Holiday Inn Expresses, food was sparse and not appetizing looking, and we feel it was overpriced for the overall presentation of the hotel. We will continue to visit Holiday Inn Express in the future, but probably won't stay at properties managed by the Gibson group. November 28, 2014

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and included, wifi was free. Checkout was easy and fast. November 28, 2014
