Had a hard time sleeping account the heater/air conditioner was not working properly. The staff did a good job of responding. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Hotel for Business or Leisure I have been staying at this fabulous hotel, Pueblo Holiday Inn Express for 5 years now---for business and leisure. If you travel to Pueblo, stay at this Holiday Inn Express. It is the best value, best friendly helpful staff, clean, safe and good "free" more than continental breakfast. I travel with a service animal "Queene" and this hotel is more than accommodating in every way. Stay here, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The Hotel Manager Mrs. O'Brien is very hands-on in her management, she will take care of making your stay most enjoyable and relaxing! February 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay overall but felt nickel and dimed I stay here often, at least 4,5 times per month in this particular location on business. I was a little frustrated on this particular trip however for several reasons. First, I was not given the normal rate which isn't too much of a discount anyway. Not a huge deal (even though it was a random Monday night). But what frustrated me was that this time I brought my very pregnant wife and 5 year old along. They didn't have any rooms left with 2 beds so we got a king. Again, not a big deal. I asked the dark complected young lady (sorry can't remember her name) getting me registered if I could get a cot. She hesitated but said sure. Right after that, the heavier set, light complected girl who was registering other people said, THAT'S $45 DOLLARS!!!! I was a little taken back, embarrassed and annoyed all in one. I said, never mind, I'm not spending $45 dollars on a cot. I just don't see how they can't accommodate guests, especially very loyal/returning guests with something this simple. I didn't make a fuss. We just checked in and made do. We did ask when returning from dinner if we could get an extra pillow or 2 and was told that there weren't any. A couple of minutes later though, the dark complected girl did bring us some. We were very grateful and thankful for her kindness. I can't say the same for the other girl however. February 19, 2015
