Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable bed and a hot shower My needs are simple when staying someplace on the road for the night: a comfortable bed at night and a hot shower the next morning. Unfortunately the Holiday Inn Express at Quincy let me down on 50% of these. After sleeping there all night, I woke and showered in a cold shower. To be fair, it started out moderately warm, but once I got in and covered in shampoo, it turned cold. This is Innkeeping 101, guys. Don't ever run out of hot water. November 18, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to par for a holiday inn Poor maintenance of the room caused us a bad experience in this hotel. A little upkeep would go a long way. It looks like the hotel was originally built or updated to meet holiday Inn standards but has not been maintained. The shower curtain was bent down where the curtain was in the bottom of the shower. The shower was cracked and had mildew. The air conditioner clicked when it wasn't running which woke us up throughout the night. Most aggravating is that the wi-if did not work. All other problems were a little nasty or annoying but the wi-if is a feature that I feel like I paid for and didn't receive. I brought the dissatisfying experience to the attention of the Clerk upon checkout and he said that the manager would call me but I never received a call. very unhappy with cost to satisfaction level November 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff and great service. This Inn has easy access from I-10 in an old highway commercial area. The street view is average due to the age of the surrounding properties. The interior is in excellent condition and the staff is Friendly. They thank us for our rewards membership, reminded us of the hot cookies service a 6pm and breakfast the next morning. The resident kitten was alert and on the job protecting us from the many rodents that live in the surrounding area. After a long drive in the rain, it was a pleasure to land at the hotel in mid afternoon. November 17, 2015
