The atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and the quiet surroundings was great after a day of heavy traffic. A great place to stay...this was our second time to stay at I-10 a couple times a year. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Interstate Stay This hotel is located approx. 2 miles from downtown Quincy but the only good quality hotel within range of this town. Probably too far out of Tallahassee, FL to stay for that city. Note it is also located near a Native American Creek Indian Casino. The hotel is new and ammenities what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express with the exception of the bedding. I found the sheet thread count to be low and "Itchy". Otherwise a great hotel, very nice and courteous staff. June 28, 2013

It is near the interstate but not within range of the road noise. We were pleased with the small cafe we had dinner in which was recommended by the hotel staff. June 24, 2013

At the morning breakfast the attendant apparently was upset that some of the guests arrived shortly before the end of the breakfast. No indication was made that the food was being put away but rather the doors under the food were being slammed shut making it uncomfortable for all the guests and we all rushed to finish and leave the break room. In all of our stays at Holiday Inn we have never experienced such behavior. April 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hidden Gem! I am a travel agent and I typically prefer to stay at higher end hotels; however, being that my visit was to Quincy, FL the pickings were slim to none. Therefore, after doing my home work I decided upon the Holiday Inn Express and couldn't have been more delighted!!!! Access off the highway was easy. The staff was welcoming, warm and friendly. The rooms were a nice size, very clean and tidy as were the bathrooms. The only issue I had was that the lighting could have been brighter, especially in the bathroom and I wish they would of had a magnifying mirror for makeup application. Besides that I was happy to find a more than ample supply of towels and pillows!!! I slept very well and for breakfast I was more than satisfied with the choices they offered for the money. I can't forget to mention the warm peanut butter cookies that were served at the check-in desk. YUMMY in a word! So if your travels ever take you to Quincy, Fl don't worry about where to stay because there's only one place to ever consider and it's this place - The Holiday Inn Express! April 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable evening manager was very efficient and helped trainee to get us the best rate available. only problem we encountered was that my husband found a french fry in his bed during the night. we did not have french fries that day! showed it to the desk staff when we checked out and they said that they would make housekeeping aware of the problem. hopefully they did so. otherwise it was an enjoyable stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional front desk service I made reservations while traveling the Florida turnpike to stay west of Tallehassee. After making my reservation I continued to drive to this hotel. The weather was really bad and I arrived at this hotel and was advised by the front desk clerk that he had no reservations for my three rooms. I checked my email for confirmation number and found that Priority made me reservations at a Stay Bridge Inn in Tallehassee, I was almost 20 miles west of this city. These are suppose to be non refundable reservations and I did not want to drive back east. James, the front desk clerk got on the phone and we called Priority. Explainning in detail what had occured, James was able to arrange for 3 rooms for me at his hotel and reservations were canceled with no fees. James also made a good recogmendation on a restaurant 2 miles away March 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Location The overall experience was the usual quality room and comfortable bedding and towels. Very clean. What surprised us and made us a bit uneasy was shortly after checking in, a housekeeping person blew into our room without knocking. She explained that she didn't know "he" put someone in our room. I suppose "he" was the attendent we met at check in. She went on to instruct me how to bolt and latch the door and said to keep people out I needed to put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. I said, "It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon and we just got here" ...there was no chance we were going to bolt the door and post a sign at that hour. I thought her response was ridiculous. The next morning the world's crankiest woman was attending the breakfast buffet. No greeting, no interaction, just plain cranky. She made us feel like she didn't want us to be there. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by noisy Sorry to say but our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Quincy was probably our most disappointing. Our room was adequate but we have stayed at better, newer HIE. Room had very thin walls, a very loud bathroom fan, shower head difficult to adjust. Closing doors slammed a good portion of night and even the elevator had a loud chime to it. Just way too noisy for us. But staff was fine and breakfast was the usual HIE offering (good), Location of motel was awful -- no restaurants around and the only gas station offered the highest priced gas we saw since leaving Wisconsin. I understand that you have no control on this but -- wow -- I guess I will need to travel a little further down the road next year. Sorry January 5, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A little out of town, but worth the drive! This is the 3 year we have stayed at this H.I. Express for ALL of the Florida State home football games. James and his staff are like family. They run a great hotel and we would not stay at any other hotel in the Tallahassee area, period! It is located a few miles outside of town, but the quick drive (I-10 West) is worth it. We look forward to next football season and our stays at this excellent property. She was extremely pleasant and helpful in making sure I had everything I needed, and she also provided some very helpful info on nearby dinner options (which are limited, BTW, so her insights were most appreciated). Many thanks to her!! Also, the facility was very clean and well-maintained, which I've been pleased to find in both this and other Holiday Inn Express hotels. Keep up the good work. November 19, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Price Gouging/Breakfast/Pancake Machine The rates were jacked up to an astronomically high rate due to a number of college football games in a nearby town for the weekend. It does not cost three and four times the normal rate to support the additional guests. This is just plain price gouging. There was a limited selction for breakfast on the first day. Better on the second day when there was a full hotel. Bring back the Waffle machine. The pancake machine is a very poor substitute - the pancakes are not very good. October 24, 2012
