Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk staff This hotel is nice and clean. If you don't mind the complete disinterest of the front desk staff it's a fine place to stay. If you want to feel like your business is valued and appreciated you should stay somewhere else. Housekeeping was excellent. Front desk staff indifferent. July 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Raceland LA The facility is new and that was certainly a plus for us. The front desk employee was very nice when we checked in. The air conditioner cutting on and off was a bit loud for us during the night. That may not bother other guest since the temp was comfortable in the room. The breakfast was good but I would suggest the staff not microwave the sausage and bacon. Otherwise we enjoyed the meal. We would stay there again May 31, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noise in hallways, smoking, rate of room We've stayed a few times and thought the rate was perfect for our traveling distance for getting to rest before work the next day. We experienced the room next door being used by smokers. It was coming through the walls along with talking we could hear just about everything they were saying. Then other customers decided the hallway was the children's nursery and the kids were up and down with doors slamming. We called to make reservations and no one mentioned the rates went up. When we arrived I was told how much it was. I asked why did it go up so much?.... We were told it was because they had experienced being booked and so busy the last few weeks, that they had to raise the rates. I gave my email address numerous times for my confirmation to be sent but haven't received it yet. I would of noticed the room price. I did call back to get my confirmation number and mentioned that I didn't receive it. When I came in for check in I asked to be sure my email was correct and was told they had yahoo and sometimes it doesn't go through to aol or some of the others because I don't have yahoo,! We really like this hotel. It was still a ways away from the job but we managed. Enjoy. ;- May 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay My wife & I stayed for 2 nights in early April 2014, during a trip to New Orleans. I will stay there again when I need a Hotel in the area. I stay in hotels about 2 or 3 times a year. Pros * Very affordable * Very Clean (All Holiday Inn Express are very clean) * Pleasant Staff * Great Location * Great Breakfast options Cons * Beds were extremely hard (every one has their own preference) * I reserved a King Bed, non-smoking room. When I got there, they gave me 2 Double Beds. I didn't mind, but it would have been nice to get an e-mail giving me a little warning. They claimed they were over booked. I have a feeling that I got bumped for a IHG Rewards Club Member, considering that I reserved my room in January. April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value and Comfortable My stay at this hotel was great. The room was clean, the breakfast was provided even pass the breakfast hours. It was very quiet and also very inexpensive with only minutes away from New Orleans. The staff was average, not bad, but nothing that stood out. Overall, if you want a nice quite hotel, this is the one for you. April 11, 2014
