Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent, but could be much better During my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Radcliff, KY (1-3 Aug 2014), I must say that I was really disappointed in the décor of the guest room. The furniture was outdated and there was a really stale smell that indicated to me that no one had occupied the room in quite some time (at least that's what I told myself). The hotel staff was super nice and they provided me with some air freshener upon request to improve the smell. It worked, but I had to endure the rest of the room's décor, which looked like it was designed for a physically challenged guest. No doors on the closet and hand bars around the walk-in shower. There was no tub (not that I had any plans to use it, but I just found it to be quite unusual for, what I was told, was a standard guess room). The breakfast left a lot to be desired...generic condiments like peanut butter, cream cheese, etc. that were provided, lived up to the generic label. The bright side is that I didn't over eat.
