This HIE has, by far, the best staff of any HIE I have stayed at thus far. Staff went over and above to accommodate the guests. Not only did they do so for me when I had an issue, I also observed them do the same for other guests while I was there. Would LOVE to see waffles back on the bar, but other than that, EXCELLENT!

(My family), minor grandchildren and minor daughter and I stay at this hotel. I am a nonsmoker but I received a smoking fee. The manager told me that his employees are trained to detect smoke. I told him that I didn't smoke. The manager than replied that there was some form of smoking done in the room. I told him I used my flat iron which does create smoke. He than said there was heavy ashes on the floor. This manager was insisting and making up things to validate and $200.00 smoking fee to a nonsmoker that used a flat iron to style their hair. So If you stay their plan to either not style your hair or visit a beauty salon at your expense which will be less than $200.00 I hope.

These people must have gone to charm school. They know your name, speak to you when you come and go, and are genuinely pleasant to work with. This is a relatively new Inn, it is clean, easy to access, and the breakfast is like few other HIEs. I travel in this area frequently and will stay here even if it might make for a longer commute. Great value!

Very nice and clean. Location was off by itself but I liked that, did not have to worry about people messing with my car. But still close enough to go eat somewhere. Breakfast was like all other Holiday Inns but the eggs did not taste good at all. Too much water in the bottom of pan. But I would still stay there again over all great place and location.

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express NC State multiple times over the past two years. Everything is always perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed on NC State graduation weekend and the hotel went over the top to help the families of the students feel special.

Perfect location for the graduation events at NC State's Textile School!! Clean, comfy room. Staff was very friendly and this hotel made the families and friends of graduates feel extra special with the extra events for graduates!
