I have stayed in many holiday Inns and this is comparable to all. Never been disapointed, clean beds, airy rooms, double glazed windows so no noise from nearby roads. Great choice at breakfast and even coffee on the go ...what more can you want for such a great price. Asked for more milk and t bags for the room and not a problem ..................................... would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this hotel for a night away near the coast, location was good, hotel was average. Had problem with the air con - very loud and not easy to adjust so didn't get the best night sleep but staff did apologise.
Would recommend as a place to stop at if in the area or maybe catching flight at Manston as just outside the airport.
Not the best Express I've stayed at but not the worst.
Breakfast very nice.

Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable. My only complaint was the sausages offered at breakfast, there skins were so tough! also we expected bacon to be on offer especially at a weekend but no such luck.

The staff were extremely helpful, we rang ahead and asked for adjoining rooms as we were a family of six travelling together. We also needed a cot and it was all organised and ready for us when we arrived. The facilities were clean and really comfortable. The staff were all smiles and happy to help. This is the second time we have stayed here and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Rooms and service was excellent, although the lifts were out of order when we arrived but there was no out of order sign on the doors and the receptionist had not been informed.The lifts were still out of order the following day.

I stayed at the hotel for six nights whilst researching family history in Thanet. The position of the hotel was excellent for my purpose. I can't fault the service by the staff or the cleanliness of the place. The room had a large desk space with two sockets for laptop and phone charging. Unfortunately, whilst there were radios BBC One, Two and Three, there was no Radio Four. I was told that repeated requests had been made to the supplier, to no avail.
The hotel is severely let down by the choice and quality of the food. Quantity was good but the food was tasteless. There is a basic bar grill menu or the choice of two chef specials. The idea of steak and kidney pudding on the hottest day of the year was not appealing.
The only sherry was Harvey's Bristol Cream - not exactly the dry sherry before dinner which I had in mind. When I requested Worcester Sauce in my tomato juice, I was told there was none available, neither at the bar nor in the kitchen as it wasn't used in any of their recipes. Perhaps if they did use it, the food would have more taste.
I can't say what the breakfast was like as I opted out. but as regards dinner, I have eaten much better food in the much maligned and missed Little Chefs. If you're just staying for a night or two, it probably won't matter but I was booked for seven nights. I couldn't face it on the last night and checked out rather than endure another bad meal or go searching for a decent restaurant.

We spent one night at this hotel which whilst not the most convenient for the Dover Ferry was well run with a friendly staff.
We were a party of 3 and arrived at about 10.00pm and were pleased to find the 3rd bed made up and the in room cups and coffee available for 3 and not 2 as is usual despite 3 traveling. The breakfast, whilst not quality food, provided a good variety and a good start to the day. Free coffee to go was a very nice touch.
