I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful at all times the room service was excellent and food and bar facilities were very good with a wide choice .I would recommend this hotel and will choose the chain again on my future stays

Clean, efficient and friendly, the hotel was fine for a one night stay. The Art Deco area is intriguing but the bedroom was oddly sterile, with no pictures on the wall to lighten the atmosphere. It would be pleasanter if the hotel maximised the Art Deco feel by making greater reference to it in the decoration throughout the hotel.

Staff Friendly, Hotel clean and comfortable along with the room. Only downside is walls are not insulated and i could hear conversations in other rooms and neighbors snoring on and off throughout the night.
Breakfast was good average choice and quality.
The fact of having rewards card was not recognised and therefore no particular advantage.

We had an excellent stay in the Holiday Express - although the quilt on the bed was not quite warm enough, but requested another one, which was readily available. The shower base was rather slippery when wet, but apart from that our stay was excellent - staff were very helpful. My daughter has a food allergy and at breakfast a member of the staff checked the ingredients of some items to see whether she could eat them or not.

I travel with work so stay in a lot of hotels, frequently stay in this hotel. Sadly standards seem to be dropping, breakfast very poor - at 6.30am juice machine empty, very few breakfast choices available. Staff on a go slow or chatting to each other oblivious to customers wanting to get out to work on time!
I've stayed in a few of the rooms, they are ok. Better to get a room on non-road side as the road is very noisy so not much sleep.
