A great alternative to the casino resort. Complimentary breakfast goes until 11 a.m. Free shuttle to casino. Friendly staff. A nice pool if you're there during the summer months.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Derek2345 Attentive staff and Comfortable room
I stayed here for about a month for business. Being that this was a long stay, I was able to get a good gauge on the hotel and staff. Most staff were helpful and attentive, particularly while we were snowed in for a few days during a blizzard. The parking lot and walkways were kept as clear as possible, which was far better than one of the other local hotels. My only complaints about the room was noise level from the highway, hard mattress and lighting that never seemed bright enough. Otherwise, it was comfortable and clean. Internet was slow, unreliable and required logging in each time you wanted to use the internet. Breakfast room staff were very friendly and accommodating. They kept the serving area and tables very clean. The staff seemed to spend a lot of time smoking by the front doors, which I found to be a little unprofessional. Not a big deal, but rather unusual in my travels. All in all, this Holiday Inn provided a nice place to stay for a month.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by R0000 Poor Staff Experience
Although the hotel is conveniently located within Charles Town, the quality of this particular Holiday Inn is sub-standard to the level of comfort and care I have become accustomed when using Holiday Inn. Specifically, the hotel management has little regard for his patrons, their comfort, and maintains a negative attitude. If I were not exclusively a Holiday Inn rewards member, I would not stay at this hotel again.
This particular stay was over one month long, and during that time, I not only experienced numerous attitudes from the management myself, but I also witnessed just as many examples of poor demeanor towards other guests and patrons.
