Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Experience I frequently stay at this holiday when I travel to Rapid City on business. I arrived at 8:30 pm and my room was not "ready" I was told they need to double check the rooms. I am appalled since the check in time is 3pm- how possibly my room could not be ready by 8:30pm. It was an extremely long day and all I wanted to do was get to my room and relax. I will not be staying at this location again. Horrible service an housekeeping. The last time I stayed here in July the didn't even clean my room for 2 days or take the trash out of the hallway all day. August 22, 2015

We were towing a trailer there was plenty of room in back of hotel to park truck and trailer and easy card access from back to hotel. August 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, clean rooms, perfect location My husband and I stayed at this location while taking in the pre-events for the Sturgis bike rally. The area has alot of good quality restaurants within walking distance which was important to us after spending all day on the motorcycle. The breakfasts were always fresh and a great advantage. The best part was the staff who made us feel like old friends, greeting us on return or telling us about great places to see on the motorcycle. August 3, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Used Points for stay I have been a loyal Holiday Inn customer for many years, both for business and leisure travel. Because of this I have earned hundreds of thousands of points and have used them many times always with a pleasant experience until this time. When we arrived to check in the clerk looked up our reservation and said 'Oh, your on points', in a way that sounded like he wasn't very please about it. He did tell us as soon as we arrived that they had some cleaning people not show up and they were behind on cleaning rooms but should have one available in about 45 minutes. I said that's fine, we understand. There was one couple waiting for a room when we arrived and 3 or 4 more arrived after we did. All were told the same thing so all was good. After a little while the first couple got their room, then a little later the couple that arrived after us got a room. We continued to wait while we watched all of the other people that arrived after us to get their room while we waited. Finally after 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting we finally got a room. This doesn't seem to me to be the way to treat a loyal customer that is using a benefit of being a loyal customer. The rest of our stay was fine but I was very disappointed to be treated as a second class citizen just because we were paying for our stay using Priority points. Other hotels have thanked me for being a loyal customer but this one didn't make be feel very welcome. July 28, 2015
