They had a great meal waiting and offered a wonderful room. Check out in the morning was facilitated by the staff helping load in a snow storm. It was perfect. March 1, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional staff I first stayed at this hotel 3 years ago while traveling to Denver. What a wonderful surprise to find such interested and engaged staff. The room was exceptionally clean. The evening reception and breakfast was staffed by attentive and obviously very loyal and proud employees. I now make a point of arranging my travel schedule to include a stay at this hotel. It is really that good. I have never been disappointed. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The difference is the pride that the employees take in making sure a visitor has a great experience. Great job! February 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A late snowy cold night in Raton Came in from an emergency road repair. It was cold, blowing and snowing sideways. Kathy at the desk greeted me and made me feel very much at home. I had some concerns of the safety of my service truck in the parking lot. Kathy assured me that in 8 years the only problem was a missing gas can (which might not have been there in the first place). She made me feel at ease and assured me she would personally "keep an eye" on my truck. This lady went above and beyond for me! Got into my room and was surprised at the comfort level of the room. Not to hot, not to cold, but just right. Those pillows on the bed were something else. A choice of an oversized soft or an oversized firm pillow. In the short time I was there, (less than 6 hours) I felt very relaxed. Slept great, no distractions (except me coming in a after midnight) very nice stay. Breakfast was pretty good too. The staff at this place were amazing. Going out of their way for me, something you don't see a lot of in this day and age. February 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consistantly meets our expectations This HIE has been consistently clean with very nice staff throughout the years we have been staying there. The hotel meets or exceeds our expectations. This is one of the only HIEs that provides nightly snacks in the dining area. Would recommend the property to others and they are doggie friendly, if needed. February 14, 2015
