We stayed one night along a road trip at this location and found it to be very clean and enjoyable. The facilities is well kept and the staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool as did we.
We would stay here again!

This is my third stay at H.I. Red Bluff in a month and I plan to stay again because:
All services excellent; guest rooms and baths, lobby, spa, pool, workout area, lobby and dining area spotless. Sensing my driving fatigue, front desk staff changed my scheduled room, giving me a room with great walk-in shower, instead of a tub shower.
Staff was exceptionally pleasant and had answers to every question regarding amendities and local eateries. Warm guest cookies a hit. They even offered to retrieve ice from 2nd floor when lobby floor machine was empty.
Rooms are quiet, ample space, well made beds, and cotton sheets.
Having a 24 hour gas station adjacent was a plus and convenience to freeway great. Good exterior lighting and hotel feels secure.
Only suggestion: exchange hanging do not disturb signs to entry key slot type as hanging style falls off door handle.

Generally speaking, the facility is very good. It is new. Staffs are friendly, helpful and courteous.
However the stock of amenities needs attention. For a room for 2 persons, only amenity for 1 was stocked.
I truly recommend this location.
Keep up the good work.

We dropped in on a road trip & we were greated by the friendly front desk attendant.
One of the guests in our party accidentally left behind some jewlery in their room. The manager, Tess, quickly called to inform us of the jewlery. She put the jewlery in a safe place & had it available for pick up on our trip back through. It's nice to know there are still friendly ethical people that will do the right thing. I will be returning the next time I pass through the area!

We stayed here on our way down I-5 from Portland to Los Angeles. We had four of us in the room.
This is a new hotel and was fresh and up to date.
Queen beds were comfortable. The breakfast room is spacious and open.
Excellent place to stay. We shall return here.

I prepaid for two rooms and they still authorized the same amount on my credit card which they failed to release, even when I asked them to at checkout...it is still a week later and my credit card shows a pending charge of 100.00. Since there was no charge at checkout they failed to release it.

As a frequent traveler I have realized there is a difference between nice facilities and great places to stay. Management setting the pace trains and ingrains a philosophy of service in their people. People with the right mind set change a facility with nice "things" into a great place to stay. The Red-Bluff South HIE is an exceptional place to stay. People like Miss Lisa create a wonderful environment in a nice facility. Everyone I encountered was poised to help and create a relaxing atmosphere where one feels like the staff wants to make everything perfect.
Beats the near by Hampton by a lot!

The hotel and accommodations are excellent. My only complaint would be that the beds are too hard - and I have stayed there on a few occasions. Here is where the excellent customer service comes into play. I spoke to the front desk about it and she is going to purchase a Temperpedic mattress cover for the next time I visit! WHAT ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is the difference in me staying there or going elsewhere. Also, the facilities are new but they ALWAYS are and smell so exceptionally clean. The entire staff from housekeeping to maintenance to the front desk are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price. Also, it has easy access to and from the interstate!
Also, the business center is very accommodating!

We stopped on our way from Portland to Palm Desert and then again a week later on our return trip home. So we stayed here twice in one week. This hotel still smells new. It's totally smoke free which is awesome! Beds are comfortable. Couldn't ask for much more for a tired family of 4. The staff was very welcoming and breakfast was what I would expect for a complementary deal. I would only recommend a stronger coffee. We had to stop at Starbucks to get some coffee to our liking. All in all it's a perfect place to stop.

We chose this Holiday Inn -Express because it was highly recommended by our friends. We stayed at this hotel twice during this trip while driving to Anaheim and upon our return from Las Vegas. We foound the hotel easy to find and the checkk in procedures were smooth. On both occasions, the front desk staff were professional and friendly. The complementary wine tasting was a treat! It was noteworthy to mention that the front desk staff were very helpful in suggesting local restaurants for a late dinner. Our rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable after a long day of driving. We were able tp partake in the breakfast on our first visit. The food was good and the coffee was great! Due to the fact that we were up early on the morning of March 31st , we were unable to have an early breakfast, but the coffee helped get us motivated for the long drive home. If I ever stop at Red Bluff again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this property as we were tired of driving and did not feel like continuing on to the Sacramento area. The property is nice and fairly new and the staff was friendly and helpful. Be advised their property location means you will hear the freeway and passing trains all night.

Very nice new hotel with everything you would want for the traveler. Great staff who were very friendly and professional. Only complaint was our breakfast service which had run out of many items due to a large school group arriving when the service opened. Only one employee trying to keep up with the large group. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

I just want you all to know that when my family and I stayed at your hotel on the evening of March 2, 2013 that the evening Manager/Front desk gal Lisa was WONDERFUL!! She answered our questions about the area, where we could find shopping etc.
She even went to make us warm, freshed baked chocolate chip cookies!! She even put the piano on for us while we ate our supper in the lobby/dinning area. Who does that! You have now idea how wonderfull it is to get great customer service, especially when your traveling and your tired. Like comin home. Three Cheers for LISA!! We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. It has very friendly staff who are anzious to make sure everything is to our satisfaction.
The rooms are lovely and spacious and there were no issues that caught our attention. The breakfast was delicious and we felt we had been treated royally as we continued on our way home. Thank you.

I asked for a ground floor room because of having a small pet. The room was ready and near the exit, which was appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. Connection to the Internet was easy. Breakfast was very good. My wife and I were very pleased with our stay and felt the price was a good value. I would return to this hotel at any time.

We were warmly greeted when we arrived with no reservation. This new property incorporates the best features HI Express offers.
We enjoyed dinner at the Green Barn which was recommended by the receptionist. A nice locally owned steak house.
We look forward to staying here again.

Overall a great stay. The staff was great and helpful. There was a problem with noise in the room next to us and the staff took care of the problem very quickly. We needed the breakfast early on Sunday and the staff moved the time up so that we could eat before leaving to continue our drive. The only problem with the room was the bathroom door. The door opens out and hits the front door causing a problem getting out of the room and a loud noise. A nice place to stay during a long drive.

We stayed here for over one week and had a wonderful time. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern. The housekeeping staff took great care in cleaning our room and the hospitality staff was always very accommodating. We also met other guests who we smiling and friendly. It felt like we were home while we were there.
We highly recommend this hotel. :)
