After 700 miles on the road, found this location and was lucky enough to get the last room.
Check in was fast, breakfast was good and overall service was very good.

The hotel and location was very convenient for us to take our grandkids to for the evening to swim and spend time with the grandparents. The pool was totally ours late in the evening and on Sunday morning. The grandkids really enjoyed the stay.

I reserved a non-smoking room and I got a room that was non-smoking but had been smoked in, and the hallway to my room smelled bad of smoke even thou all the rooms around me were non-smoking. The Wifi Internet was terrible, you were connected but you could not do anything with it, all it would do was sit and clock, I tried two different computers, same result. The final straw was being woken up at 4 in the morning by people in the hallways taking and the people next door being loud.....

A very good place to stay with a caring staff. I had left my phone in our room but it only took a phone call for them to mail it to me. The girl I talked to immediately knew who I was and that I had left my phone. Couldn't get better service than that. I received the phone quickly. Thanks so much.

This hotel is OK...but know that you have to put up with a lot of noise from the freeway 24/7. My sister and I were staying at the hotel becuase we were attending my mother's funeral. We had a hard time sleeping as it was but then early on Saturday morning...1:30am the fire alarm starts going off and it is loud. There is no way you can stay in the hotel. So everyone evacuated the hotel and was standing out in the cold night air in our PJs. No one told us what was going on. We heard a rumer from another guest that it was a false alarm. Finally, a couple of guys from the Fire Department showed up and tried to shut it off...Long story short we were outside for 45 min. The hotel did nothing to compensate us. They put some lame sign out by the check in desk. Not enough. I will never stay here again!

Nice atmosphere, clean, good breakfast choices. Sufficient for basic purposes. Does have a mildewed smell that can get to be annoying. Needs exhaust fans in bathroom for ventilation, and sun lamp for heat. Our hair-dryer didn't work, but that would be okay if you brought your own. I felt it was a little bit more than I wanted to pay...for just a basic room. Should consider giving discounts to guests who stayed before.

I frequently stay at this Holiday Inn Express when I have business in the Columbus area or am passing through. The price is right for a national brand experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms, very convenient to the interstate and downtown. I'll go back again and again.

My husband and I have stayed here for the past several years, even when it wasn't Holiday inn Express. Many of the same staff is still there. That is a testament to the company. I know some of them by first name. We have always had excellent service.

after our usual hotel closed, we started coming here for the car show weekend. Thank Goodness! We LOVE this place!
Staff is friendly and super accommodating, super clean, comfy bed/pillows and good breakfast. Lots of stores and places to eat in walking distance. We will be back every year :)

Our room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. We stayed 2 nights with our softball team for a tournament. The breakfast was fantastic! It was nice to be able to grab a bite and then head out to our games. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Only complaint would be to add mini fridges to the rooms. A few girls had the same room and had a microwave and a fridge but we did not. Other than that our stay was perfect and I would stay there again...

All staff were very nice and friendly. Our room (217) had a musty odor that we later discovered to be originating from the empty wooden cabinet beneath the microwave where the sink trap is. All in all, for the price I paid for the 2 rooms I reserved, I expected more modern, brighter, fresher rooms than what I got.

Rude staff and elevator was broken half the time. At one point people were stuck for 3 hours on the elevator.

Overall this is a nice property, great location and nice amenties. The main areas are nicely updated as are the rooms and bathrooms for the most part. The room I stayed in had an unpleasant, mildew like odor. You can tell this is an older hotel, because although the furniture and bathroom have been updated the walls need painting. The pool and fitness center were nice, however the pool area was very dangerous, water on the floor all around the pool, it didn't seem to have been mopped up at all throughout the day. I was traveling with my 72 year old mother who has some mobility issues. Half of the time there was no staff at the front desk and no bell to ring. I booked the room online through the PC rewards website, a 2 Queen bed room that listed a fridge and microwave as amentities. Unfortunately, there was no fridge or microwave in my room. When I went to the front desk to inquire about this problem, I waited at least 5 minutes, no on was there nor came out, I returned to my room and called the front desk to ensure it was staffed and returned to speak to the front desk staff in person. I was told that only the King rooms have those amenities and for an extra $30 I could upgrade to a King. They did not address the fact that is was incorrectly advertised on the website nor that I am a Priority Club member. A king bed did not fit my travel needs, so I likely would not have upgraded even if the fee was waived, as it should have been, especially for a PC member. However, the whole issue was dealt with poorly. Also, it would be nice if the coffee area was accessbile in the morning after breakfast was over. The coffee was closed off in the breakfast room.

This place is relatively clean, bed was comfortable.
Bad experience however as staff entered my room when I was out with the Do Not Disturb sign placed in key slot. Asked manager why this happened and was told she didn't think it was a big deal as they just replaced pillows with new ones. I would not enter her home if no one was there, do not understand why they would enter my room (I live in hotels for work) when the sign is displayed and I am not there.
I could see if it was an emergency, otherwise this is not acceptable. Just to replace pillows, really?
Do they ever stop to think maybe the sign is there for a reason? I may travel with valuable stuff I don't want people I don't know seeing. Nothing personal, but I don't know these people.
Would advise staff the next time they want to enter a room to do something so mundane as replacing pillows, they don't do it when your guest has specifically asked not to enter the room.
Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Every hotel was booked for some concert. Was able to get a room in Reynoldsburg, close enough to Columbus, but not the area I wanted to be in. The hotel is close to shopping and resturants. There is a WalMart across the street in the event you need to shop for items you forgot to pack for your trip. The rooms are clean, the halls are quiet. The front office staff is exceptional. If I return to Columbus, I would probably stay there again, though it is outside the city, it is a great hotel, in an a good area.

Room was just average. No refrigerator in room. Bathroom lighting poor. Price was high for what you got.
Room was dated. The only plus for this property was the close proximity to local restaurants. I spend at least 4 nights every week in hotels, mainly Holiday Inn Express. This is as average as an HIE gets.

I visit here regularly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are going to spend any time in the room, I recommend getting an room option with a couch.

I just can't say enough about the staff here. They were so sweet, accommodating and helpful.
Sadly, the building itself is older and has paper thin walls so you hear everything that is happening in the rooms next to you. They have made attempts to upgrade, our bathroom was very nice. My family LOVED the breakfast.
The surrounding area has everything and anything you can think of for food and entertainment. If you have somewhere to be you might want to take into account that the area can be very congested, if possible, would be easier to walk to dinner.

I stay here 4-6 weeks per year and have been since the week the hotel was originally opened.
Staff and ALL employees do a great job and are very friendly. Breakfast foods are good. Close to the Interstate, shopping and restaurants.
IF there are any concerns, they are addressed immediately.

The only complaints that I have about this hotel are the following-
1 - No cookies. Evidently the manager is a health nut and only offers guest cucumber water in the evening. I look forward to my cookies. Also, some hotels offer water and goodies to priority members, this hotel does not.
2 - The ice machine on the third floor is extremely loud. I stayed at the end of the hall so no problem. But I would never accept a room near that ice machine.
3 - The front desk employee was less than enthusiastic especially on the phone. But nice enough when we arrived.
Other than the above, I enjoyed the quiet and comfort of my room

I stay at this Holiday Inn Express one or two nights every other month on business. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the overall property to be in excellent condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very helpful and friendly staff, Hannah at the front desk assisted me with making sure my room was exactly what I wanted and genuinly cared. She also helped me with my priority rewards points.
