It was just a one night stay on our way across the country, but when we walked it, to check in there was no one at the front desk. We waited, waited, waited, and finally the front desk person came in from outside. Apparently on a smoke break. Ok, everyone deserves a break, My issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The mold on the wallpaper, in the tub, it was disgusting, and I will not be back because of it. Not to mention the staff wasn't rude, but they sure weren't pleasant. No mention of my Plat status, and of this writing I still have not received my 500 welcome points, while I have received it from the 2 other IHG hotels I stayed at AFTER this stay. Just not on the ball. I would find a different place to stay on my next visit to the Cleveland Area.

We stayed at a few other hotels while traveling to visit family in another state, but none were as nice and comfortable as this one. They are currently doing a lot of renovations, yet the areas for quests were always clean and you could tell they used quality craftsmen to do the work. It will be even better when finished

Plush accommodations, a hot breakfast buffet to please even the most fussy of eaters, a heated indoor pool, and all just off the turnpike--A MUST hotel for anyone stopping over in the area. We walked in, w/o advanced reservations, exhausted from driving home (combined w/antiquing several hours in Hagerstown, MD) from Wash., D.C., and were taken care of quickly
