Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Having platinum status makes no difference! The hotel was great but I was not pleased that I had to stay so far away from my destination because I used my points. Even as a platinum customer I was unable to stay in the city where I intended to stay. I was placed 25 minutes away from my destination although the website showed available rooms in my city of choice. i don't feel as if my platinum status awarded me anything other than usual. It would be nice to be able to use your points where you would prefer. November 14, 2014

The Richmond Hill hotel has all of the qualities I have come to expect (but don't always get.) The beds, the bath make the stay for a weary traveler, and Richmond Hill met and exceeded my expectations. November 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Stopped here for the night on my way to a business meeting in Orlando. This hotel is a popular stopping point for vacationers on their way to FL, as many guests I spoke with at breakfast were on their way to the Sunshine State. The room was clean and functional. Breakfast was better than the average HIE. Also, the hotel has unusual architecture. There is a glass elevator and a more fancy breakfast area than other HIE hotels. Also the closet in the room is to the right of the TV as you are sitting in bed -- an unusual location. Be sure to check the closet before you leave because I forgot to do that and... I made the un-nerving error of leaving my hang-up clothes in the closet after checking out. Drove as far as Jacksonville FL before realizing. D'OH! So I called the hotel, and Trudy (sp?# from the front desk went straight to the room I had and brought all my hang-up clothes #which I had to have for this meeting in FL) to the front desk. They were waiting for me when I got back to Savannah. So while I spent more time on I-95 in GA than I had planned that day, I left the hotel feeling grateful for the staff's efforts. November 3, 2014
