Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another stay in RIchmond Hill Traveling the I95 corridor 4-5 times a year, I have stayed at many hotels along the way. This is the third time I have returned to the Richmond Hill HIE and continue to be pleased with the service and accommodations. From check in to check out, all the staff is friendly and attentive. They are knowledgeable about the area and have directed me to several nice places for dinner. Breakfast is what is standard at HIE and always fresh, hot and good. The rooms are large, clean and updated. The bathrooms are clean and well lit. There is minimal noise from the hallways and the beds are very comfortable. Traveling alone, I feel very safe here. I highly recommend the Richmond Hill HIE! October 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff, quiet room and good location Even though this hotel was a little smaller and older than some Holiday Inn Expresses, it was very clean. The staff was very friendly. A small error was made on the bill by the night desk person but it was quickly corrected in the morning. It was located near some restaurants and the British pub that we picked was excellent. The room was very quiet so we slept well. October 7, 2015

The room was very quiet, bed was comfortable and got a very good night's sleep as we had been traveling for several hours. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Front Desk Staff When we checked in the first room we were given, it smelled highly of cleaning fluid and had a terrible odor. I checked with the front desk about the problem and a young lady came and observed the odor and quickly moved us to another room which was acceptable to my wife and I. After we had left the hotel for dinner, we realized that we had left our hanging clothes in the closet of the first room. I called the front desk and Linnette(?) took care of this and moved our clothes to the new room while we were away. The only problem that we had was that the Friday breakfast staff person refused our request to make more eggs as we came down to the breakfast 30 minutes before it closed. She said that it would take at least 25 minutes to make the eggs. Another couple came down a few minutes after us and wanted the eggs also and the person immediately made and brought out the eggs. It took maybe 5 minutes. By the time this happened we had finished our breakfast. We had no problems with the Saturday or Sunday breakfast. Overall, we had an excellent stay and we were very impressed by the kindness of the front desk staff during our entire stay. We stayed three nights. October 4, 2015
