We were impressed with the staff from the front desk to our breakfast hosts and the cleaning service. All smiles and eager to please.
PS I forgot to mention to the front desk that the sink faucet was coming loose (Rm 307).

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express during a drive from Florida to New Jersey. The hotel is conveniently located and and close to the Richmond loop. There are several restaurants and other stores nearby. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They offered a discount to the steakhouse next door and were very accommodating to our small dog who travelled with us. The room was very spacious and comfortable.The cleanliness standards are also very high. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety. This hotel has excellent security and is a good value!

The hotel building and my room were kept very clean during my stay. A hotel's cleanliness is very important to me. The hotel is also in a good location because it is right off of I-64 and Gaskins Roads leads you to other major roads and stores in the area.
The only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to have a service elevator. It appears that Saturday is a very busy day at the hotel. As guests were checking in, checking out or going about their day, the hotel's cleaning staff were also busy. However, they had to wait to take their large, blue work carts into the same elevator that the guests used. The guests understood the staff had to work, but missing the elevators due to it being crowded made the staff and guests have to wait a while for the elevators.
I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.
I would also like to thank Joanne at the front desk for answering the questions I had about my reservation.

Great area and close to everything. We were surprised at the wonderful variety at breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
My only complaint would be that our room must not have been used in a while and needed to be dusted. Also, the pillows were worn and needed to be replaced. Overall...room needed to be freshened -up.

We have enjoyed our past two stays at this Holiday Inn Express in Richmond, Virginia. The location is so convenient to I-64, and other areas of the city.
The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We are staying at a Holiday Inn Express in Minneapolis at the end of this month, and hope it will be just as nice.
Also, the breakfast every day was very good with a nice variety . We have no complaints, and would highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great visit in Richmond; the sites, history and even Holiday Inn met our expectations. The staff was considerate and attentive which is unfortunately not always the case when traveling, the room was clean as well as the facility.

My wife and I made the decision to 'escape' the recent snow storm, and the expected power outage, by going to Richmond. We chose this hotel - a very good decision. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, Hi-def TV, fast Internet connection, very good breakfast, and it was warm (yep - our house was without power for two days) and the heat-air unit was ultra-quiet. When we learned that the power was back on - early afternoon - the folks at the hotel, without hesitation, allowed us to check out without paying for an extra night.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. The staff is very accommodating. I was there for a meeting and they went out of their way to assist with anything we needed. The facility is well maintained. It is conveniently located (within walking distance) to a restaurant and coffee shop. It is within a short drive to shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband attended a lecture at a nearby hotel, so we went a day early and stayed at your property. We've been married 30 years, so
it was nice to get away from the kids and responsibilities. Your hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was more than I was expecting and very good. It was great having a 12:00 check-out (versus 11:00), as I was "stuck" until my husband's lecture was over. Thank you!

Stayed for three nights while visiting family who live in the area. Hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very polite, helpful staff. Great breakfast. This was our second stay at this hotel and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend if one is staying in the area.

I have been staying at this property consistently for the past four years when in Richmond for business. Along with being in a great location, the staff is always efficient and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and "at home" . Joann welcomes you at the front desk by name, Sizanne. The manager is always available and mingling with the guests. Laurie, serves a great breakfast, always plenty of food and freshly prepared. Not to mention her personal touch of getting to know the guests. Try staying here next time you are in the area. I am sure you'll go back!

I am a business traveler and began staying at this Hotel when it first opened. About four years ago, I decided to change Hotels as the rooms were beginning to show some age.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms have been updated, carpet replaced, very comfortable beds, and helpful staff. I will certainly switch back to staying at this Hotel going forward and highly recommend this property.

Don't go on Hotwire or a discounted hotel site. Call this place directly and you will get a good deal. Nice hotel good locale. Nice staff. I have stayed here once on a "dicsount" and once directly. I think a direct book is cheaper! Good buffett.

I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile, was given complete instructions on all ammenites and services. I felt like I was really welcome and that my patronage was really appreciated. The Front Desk Agent whos name was Dominique had a beauitiful smile and asked if there was anything else that she could do for me. Upon check out I got he same friendly greeting from Front Desk agent Wanda, she asked if I enjoyed my stay and if there was anything else she could do for me. I would highly recommend this Hotel to my friends and family members and whenever I am in the Richmond area I will deffinatly choose This Property.

This was my 2nd stay in the last 2 months. Location is good. So glad to stay somewhere that you feel linens are clean. I will stay again on my future trips to Richmond, Can't rate breakfast - I don't move fast enough to get down for it!!!

This trip we stayed at Mayland Dr. HI Express. What a differance from my previous vist at Staples Mill Rd. The people were very helpful and upbeat. I had a great breakfast. At Staple Mills I had to pay for breakfast and the people were not nice. Thank You again for a great stay.

The facilities, accomodations, and staff at this property are one of my personal favorites throughout all of my travels. As a Holiday Inn Priority Club Member since 1985, and recent Platinum Level Member, I can not say enough about the professionalism and dedication to customer service that the staff at Richmond I-64 Northwest provide. I often will adjust my travel schedule simply to stay at this location. They all deserve a very special "Thank You".

Two night stay at this property was very pleasant. Pre-arrival requests were met. Staff was attentive and well informed. Our room and facility in general was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection was varied (might consider adding oranges) and well maintained. All of this at a very reasonable price for the area. This will be our first choice on our next visit to Richmond.

The hot breakfast is excellent and so much better than other hotels. Seeing a washer-dryer on each floor was something I have not seen. Overall a great hotel- we will be back!
