Very accessible to Hwy 64 and Interstate 95 Many places to eat and shop. Good breakfast in the Great Room. I've been staying there for years while in Richmond for business and family. The hotel was quiet despite the presence of several field hockey and soccer teams that had arrived for a competition. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the breakfasts exceeded my expectations. I slept unusually well. October 15, 2014

The rooms provide excellent WiFi, a comfortable work space in the room, and more importantly, a very quiet atmosphere (even on a Saturday night). Breakfast was well stocked, clean, located in a large comfortable sitting area, and managed by friendly/happy ladies. October 15, 2014

If there is one thing I like to see at any hotel or motel is ease of access. We came W on I-64, getting off at the Gaskins Road exit. You have to cross four or five lanes immediately to turn at the light which you come upon very quickly. If there is traffic, and there was when we arrived, it isn't easy to cross over all those lanes. We made it OK, but it is not something I would have preferred. I realize there is not much that can be done about it, or even how you finally get to the front entrance. That is the only thing lacking at this Holiday Inn Express - ease of access from all directions and a dedicated entrance to the motel from the highway. October 15, 2014

When I check in, I feel like I am being greeted by a member of my family. Many of the staff know me by name and make me feel truly welcomed. Can't wait to see my "friends and family" on my next trip! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Keep your shoes on! My past experiences at this hotel have been favorable, however, the most recent stay was quite disappointing. The front desk clerk was nowhere to be found when I showed up to check in. Then, as it turns out, they cancelled my reservation without notice nor contact of any kind, because I hadn't checked in before 10pm. Once in the room, i found my bare feet sticking to the carpet, not just in one spot, but the entire thing. Made me question how clean the linens and cushions were too. October 7, 2014

It was always quiet and we weren't bothered when we wanted to sleep in. I only wish the eggs and biscuits had tasted better. Otherwise, our stay was excellent and Ihighly recommend this hotel. The size of the room, bathroom and amenities are solid and what one would expect with this chain. Location is great and hotel is located in close proximity to many restaurants, shops and is about 20 minutes from downtown, However, this hotel appears to be poorly managed with a rude, sometimes imcompetent, staff. Breakfast was lacking, front desk staff was rude and unhelpful when asking for the most simple assistance. Some employees exuded an unprofessional appearance, including wearing blouses that did not fully cover body. With new management this hotel could be an excellent choice for someone looking for a clean, moderately-priced hotel. September 15, 2014
