Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good this time I stay at this hotel everytime I come to Rio. This time however I was not pleased. The TV in the room only had 4 working channels, 2 were in English. I told the front desk and they called maintenance who said there was nothing they could do, and I wsa told the hotel was booked so I culd not switch rooms. I asked for the manager and ws told he would be in Sunday at 8am, Sunday there was still no manager and then I wsa told he would return Monday. I paid cash for the room however my card was still charged. Not pleased at all with this stay. November 3, 2014

I was traveling on business, had booked one of the last rooms for the nights I was to be there, the hotel upgraded my room upon arrival, and oh what an upgrade, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms with great beds. I was impressed. The hotel staff were great. Room was clean and air conditioner worked great. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rio Grande City. November 1, 2014

The Staff is, as always, fantastic. The Manager was extremely accommodating for two special requests that I had. HIE is the ONLY place to consider if you are staying in Rio Grande City.
