Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, too expensive Initially reserved because it was "best" hotel option in Ripley even though it was significantly more expensive than other two brands. The hotel looked nice, food was good, but the main reason you stay at hotel is to sleep; and in that, the room I stayed in had the literally one of worst mattresses that I've ever slept in. it was completely broke down in the middle, felt like I was sleeping in bowl. everything else was ok, other than being overpriced. the inexpensive brand next door has way better beds, b/c I stayed there last time I was in town, July 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by July 4th weekend We enjoy staying at this hotel while visiting our son & his wife & normally my husband enjoys the breakfasts. Our room was clean & the front desk staff was very nice. Matt helped us on how to re-arrange our reservation for the last part of our trip at another Holiday Inn Express. But the breakfasts were a very big disappointment, 2 mornings I had to look for the lady who handles the breakfast area because there was no bread products at all, no bread, no bagels, no English muffins, no donuts, no muffins, nothing. 1 morning one of the house cleaning crew coming in filling her coffe cup up actually went back to look for tea bags for me as there was none on the counter, but that was ok because once we found them and I tried to get hot water, there was no hot water, we gave up and went to a local restaurant for breakfast. We will stay again and hope that it was just a rare occurrence that we just happened to be there for. July 11, 2014
