Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Saggy Beds We arrived around 11:00 pm with 4 people for a suite (two parents and 18 year old brother and sister). We went up to the room and the key cards did not open the door. I returned downstairs and had the keys re-done. When we finally got into the room, there were no linens in the room for the sleep sofa and there were only 3 towels in the bathroom. We called down to the desk and the clerk brought up a couple of towels and linen. He did not bring a blanket for the sleep sofa or a pillow. The other two beds did not provide much support and sagged. The mattresses need to be replaced. Breakfast the next morning was only ok. The food was only replenished if we asked for something. The refrigerator was completely empty. There was no yogurt to be found. The previous night we stayed in a similar Holiday Inn Express room in Vestal, NY. Their beds were comfortable. All the linen, including blanket and pillow, was in the room for the sleep sofa. There were sitting chairs in the room and a sink near the coffee pot. The breakfast offered was far superior to the Irondequoit Holiday Inn breakfast. A young woman was constantly replenishing the breakfast dishes. The refrigerator was stocked with yogurt and hard boiled eggs. We liked the Vestal Holiday Inn, not the Irondequoit Holiday Inn. May 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location This was a great location of choice since it was very close proximity to family living in Rochester. We were in Rochester due to death in family. The hotel also was close to church for funeral. The hotel was clean, common areas were clean as well as the room. we didn't ask for anything other than addt'l towels and they were readily available. we didn't have opportunity to use breakfast services due to family obligations and we were taken care of very well. however, it smelled very good. My cousins were able to share in the availability of coffee. The staff was very cooperative, considerate and kind each day. Really, we were very low maintenance which was a sign of a good stay for us! April 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by totally uncomfortable bed I have stayed here before and the last time it was okay but this time when I checked in I was not recognized as a priority club member nor was I offered the option of a goodie bag or extra points. When I got to my room the bed was so soft that it was totally uncomfortable and it made sleeping very difficult. Lastly for a room rated as a king leisure room it did not have a mini refrigerator nor a microwave. I really wish there was a common theme amongst rooms with a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rooms were clean and manageable but out dated The Holiday Inn Express that I had stayed this past week was not as updated as many of the others. The carpeting was new but the room iteself was the old style Holiday Inns. It was still clean and workable though. The breakfast area was nice and plenty of food to eat. It was still a value.
