Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was horrible Tired of staying at HIE and the beds are so bad. Mattress too firm and cheap bedding. It also had some kind of plastic/rubber sheet under a very skimpy sheet. It was like sleeping on a plastic bag and sweat collected and got all wet. Yuk! HIE is dropping off, this is what I'm finding here in the northeast, have had this experience at other HIE's. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and comfortable I have stayed at this HI Express a number of times, it is always clean and the rooms are always comfortable, especially the beds. The staff have always been nice and very pleasant. I recommend staying here , I know that if I need a room in the Rochester area, I will stay here again. January 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great location We really did enjoy our stay at the Holiday inn Express in Rochester. It was a great location since it was right down the road from where our son lives and is right off the main highway. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. And The free breakfast had a lot to offer as well. The only negative thing we experienced was that the water in pool first thing in the morning was cold. When my husband and I checked it out the night before, it was warm, but in the morning it was cold. I 'm assuming they turn the heaters off at night and it takes some time to warm up. Next time if we decide to go for a swim, we'll definitely do it later in the day. We just opted for the hot tub instead which had some great jets. Besides that , the hotel is very nice, the staff very accommodating, and I would highly recommend it. November 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean spacious room My kids and I needed to get away from our home renovations and all the chaos it was causing (we left Dad and the dog at home). Ten minutes from home we were able to relax in our beautiful, spacious room at the Holiday Inn Express -Rochester, NH. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and set up coloring books, snacks and all those other things that kids bring. In the morning we enjoyed a great complimentary breakfast and then played in the pool for awhile before heading home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend (and already have) this facility to others. Thank you! November 4, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away From Home Whenever we go to the Holiday Inn Express in Rochester, NH we feel like we are their #1 guests. Everyone is so friendly and courteous and will do anything to make you feel so comfortable. We stay there at least 2 to 3 times a month, just a rest and relaxation get a way, All I can say is thanks to everyone there - great service for sure. October 25, 2012
