So much better than the downtown Rochester Holiday Inn. The staff here were responsive, caring and passionate about their jobs. I was so disappointed when I'd stayed earlier this year at the downtown Rochester Holiday Inn that I almost refused to stay at another of their area hotels. I'm sure glad I reconsidered.

In the morning, there was a gathering of many people in the breakfast area and we were unable to have breakfast. One of the front desk girls offered to get us what we wanted, and she did (mostly), we had to go back to our room to ear. We were not able to access the full breakfast because of all the people.
Upon check in, I was acknowledged as a Priority Club member, but I was not offered any amenity.

We needed to arrange a late checkout to accommodate a 3:45 oncology appointment. We had been at labs and scans since 7:15 and by 11 were back to our room. My husband was exhausted. The front desk staff arranged for us to stay in the room unil 3 instead of 2, the typical late checkout. This act of generosity made a bright spot in a day that was full of clouds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Rochester, MN.
This hotel was very clean and the staff was great. The rooms are modern and the beds very comfortable. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

This was our second time staying at this location. It is super clean, which is greatly appreciated.
A couple of unfortunate things - there are very, very few days in a month that allow "points" to be used at this location. Also, try to request a room that does *not* face the interstate side -- there is an incredible amount of road noise from semi's and other vehicles passing by.

We were in Rochester for a surgery. The staff quickly got us a room and got us settled. The hotel was great! We were right by the hospital. When I needed to pick things up for our trip home the staff gave great directions! Our room was very nice, and very clean. I would recommend the hotel to everyone,

We stayed 4 nights during our two trips to Mayo Clinic.
The staff was very pleasant. Rooms were very clean.
This hotel opened the summer of 2012.
They have an underground heated parking garage which was great! The breakfast bar was good!
The mall of America was only one and half hour away.
The Mayo clinic is only blocks away.
The only complaint was that the first night we stayed there we had a room on the side closet to the interstate and the trucks
traveling could be heard from the room. When we requested a room on the other side we couldn't hear them.
Overall I would recommend this hotel. :)

The staff, service, room, breakfast was all excellent. We were very pleased. The underground parking was very convenient. We would definetly stay her again when we are in the area. Thank you to the staff, they were all very friendly. Special thanks to Lindsay for going out of her way when we made our reservations.

bathroom lighting is very dim and makes the room dark. It makes it hard to even see to shave. The heating unit was letting huge amount"s of cold air to come in around the edge of the unit and when i shut down the unit down , cold air rushed right thru.

After a very long day at the Hospital we needed a place to unwind and regroup. This was the perfect place. A beautiful bathroom for a hot shower and plenty of room to relax helped us to prepare for the next day.
Breackfast had many options and an attentive staff person to make sure there was plenty of hot coffee and food.
The location, one block away from St. Marys and undergound parking really helped to keep things stress free.
I would recommend this as an affordable, clean and pleasant choice in the Rochester area!

We have stayed at this property several times since it opened in 2012 and the only time I am disappointed is when we check in too late to get in the underground parking! It is easy access, close by lots of places we need to go and the staff and facility are awesome!

I would Like to say I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday inn express. The hotel staff were all very nice and professional
they made me feel very welcome. The room were very clean
and the beds were very comfortable. I do wish I would have had a little more light in the bathroom it seamed a little soft other than that I would certainly stay there again and recomend it to all my friends.

The staff was friendly and seemed well versed for a property only open for about a month. The breakfast was better than most of the competition and the area was clean and well kept. The room was nicer than expected, but some of the finish work by the contractors was a bit off -- especially in the bathroom.
The underground HEATED parking was worth the stay by itself, especially when temps dip to near zero.
I would stay there again.

We love this hotel. It is easily accessible for arrival, the staff is extremely accommodating, and the room clean and comfortable. It is just difficult to justify the price for a very brief stay, like about 6 hours sleeping and then off to the hospital, we still love to stay here. Would love to have a discount for short stay. Very nice hotel.

We never encountered any employee that we would have rated less than outstanding. Being new at that time the hotel was obviously in excellent condition and the beds H.I. excellent.
But the staff was the icing on the cake; the best of any place I have stayed. They went over the top when my grandaughter left her stuffed bear hidden in the sheets and it was swept up in the laundry when the sheets were changed. They bent over backwords to find it and when it couldn't be found, promised to keep looking for it. Three days later, I received a call that they had found it and it was in the process of being shipped back. That is customer service beyond the call of duty.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The facility is beautiful, new, clean and guest friendly. Hotel is close to St. Mary's Hospital and countless food establishments and shopping opportunities. I was really impressed with the employee who covered and worked the breakfast spread, she was friendly, courteous and went out of her way to help us. I over heard her say that she was just returning to work due to health reasons and I hope she is doing fine!! Great hotel, great staff, and great location!! Don't change a thing!!

After traveling all day, my daughter and I literaly collapsed in the room. It was quiet, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well. The breakfast the next morning was particularly good, especially the coffee and the sausages/eggs.
There was plenty of light in the parking lot (I was the loading up the car very early in the morning).

I can't express enough about how wonderful our stay was at this hotel. The staff went way over the top for customer service which is greatly appreciated since this was a Mayo Clinic visit. I would highly recommend this hotel based on customer service alone. Plus, the hotel was built in June 2012 so everything is brand new! The breakfast in the morning is very generous with eggs, scrambled and boiled, sausage, juices, muffins, the list goes on. Thank you again for such wonderful service, we will be back.
