While my husband was a patient at St Mary's I stayed at the Inn for 8 days. That's a long stay in a hotel for me but the young and very customer service oriented staff all contributed to what I describe as a very good stay. One young man at the registration desk offered a bottle of water to a woman who came into the lobby after her morning run. I was so impressed. The cleaning staff were very concientious and the cute gal who put breakfast out always gave an impression of energy and committment to her role. I will be back as we will have to return to Mayo many more times in the next year and I hope that this well trained staff are there when I return.
The only negative is that we learned that St Mary's encourages people to stay over at their hotel their first day out of the hospital as a precaution. I think this puts an unfair burden on hotel staff and I will take this up at the higher management level as I think this puts the hotel staff and guests at risk.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tbiowa Next to St. Mary Mayo Clinic and great location for long stays
We enjoyed this location as we had many multi visits to the Mayo Clinic for my parents. The options for a large variety of eating places made the stay with our very easy as we met with various family and friend who also came to stay or visit us. This part of the city is very nice and there is a lot of history with the Mayo story and start in Rochester and "Medical Town".

Only complaint I have is the noise from the highway!
More soundproof needed.
