Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy AC on the 3rd floor My husband and I have been there about 6 times as our daughter attends the University in town. We have never been on the 3rd floor before. There was no ice machine and the rooftop AC was very loud, so much so that my husband who has an 80% hearing loss could hear it. Staff as always is very friendly and helpful. August 24, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Passing thru I love the Holiday Inn Express hotel chains. Some of the hotels are better than others; this one in Missouri did not reach my expectations of a great place to stay. I did not like the fact there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the room. I had just bought something I was going to use for breakfast as I planned to leave before the free breakfast time of 6:30am. I had no where to store it unless I went down to the first floor; I stayed on the third, and used the community style, all accessible refrigerator in the lobby. And since I was on the third floor with no ice machine available, I had to go down with a washed out trash can and fill that with ice to use as a temporary fridge. The staff also did not recognize me as a Rewards member, and I had to ask for the complimentary bottle of water that the Surprise Holiday Inn in Arizona gives with a cheerful warmth. The staff had raised their eyebrows and stated I had to be a Platinum member in order to get the free bottle of water. Really? August 19, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smelly Room and Hallways The room smelled of an old beer party, when I said something to the night manager about it he said, sorry we are full so there are not any rooms to move you to. The hallways smelled musty. This is because the air conditioners in the halls are dripping on the floor! This property is not up to the Holiday Inn Express standards. August 18, 2015

Front desk staff, Breakfast area staff, maid staff, etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hotel was in a good location.
