I stay at this hotel frequently for work because of it's location. This last visit there were no cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I asked the lady stocking the breakfast area and she said the delivery truck hadn't arrived. Not acceptable - I was looking forward to the rolls.... I may consider another hotel next time.

I checked in late and the desk clerk was very nice. My room was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. There was a good variety of food on the breakfast buffet and it was all fresh.
Thanks! I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again on my way back to Dallas.

We have stayed in this facility before and appreciate the fact it has never been smoked in and is always very clean. Our stay started with a very friendly and helpful staff member at the front desk when we checked in.
Our stay was without insident, we thought! But 24 hours later I realized I had left my Kindle in the room! A call to the hotel was answred by a person that assured me it had been found and was locked in the managers office.
I called on Monday, talked to the manager, discussed how it could be shipped to me and was very pleased.
It arrived on my door strep 2 days later as the manager said it would and in very good shape.
Thank you for a very honest and efficient staff.

We checked in late at night and we were given a room on the first floor. When we walked into the room I noticed the bed pillows were oddly placed on the bed. I should have trusted my gut instinct and requested a room change right away, but it was late and we were tired. We unpacked, got ready for bed and I turned down the sheets and the fitted sheet had creases on them like someone had been sleeping (or something) in the bed. Then I noticed the two black hairs in the bed - a long one and a short one. I have blonde hair. I called the front desk and requested new clean sheets for both of the beds (at this point it was very late and we needed to be up in 5 hours and we were already unpacked). The woman who helped us was polite, but not terribly sorry, surprised or sickened by my finding. I changed the sheets and gave her the dirty sheets and on her way out of my room she said she would discount our room. We stayed for 2 nights and was credited $10.... really, $10?

As we were on a trip for medical purpose involving a young mother of two i choose to take along the children making this not as bad and scary trip for the whole family.
The young woman who checked us in was smiling and very helpful giving us the name of an eatery that delivered to the hotel and she had eaten the food herself claiming it to be the best she had ever eaten of this type and she was right, everyone changed clothes and went to the pool and enjoyed until the food arrived and it was wonderful !!!! As an employer i commend this young lady for representing both the facility and the brand !!!!!!

My review is simple. I stayed in Rolla and enjoyed Michigan basketball game on tv in my room while I had previously ordered a Pizza Inn medium pizza and enjoyed washing the salt off my car at a car wash very near the hotel.

I stayed with my family while passing through Rolla, Missouri. We really enjoyed staying here. Staff was very helpful & courteous. Few Breakfast items ran out by the time we went to have breakfast like fruit, yogurt, pancake. overall we were very pleased with everything. Definitely would recommend & stay here again.

Love this place. I had unknowingly dropped my camera in the parking lot. An employee found it, turned it in at the front desk where the check-in employee saw my picture on it, and she called my room to let me know. I appreciate that she gave me enough eye contact and personal attention upon check-in to actually distinguish me from the many other guests that were also checking in at the same time. Had she not been so personable and alert, my camera may well still be sitting in the lost and found behind the counter.
Also: the best TV compared to any other hotel we've stayed at, the hottest coffee (rivals Starbucks'), and the pancake maker was a fun and novel breakfast option.
P.S. Choosing a nickname to submit this review is such a pain in the butt I almost didn't bother. Seven times with the same response: someone else already used that nickname.

Unlike the HIE we stayed in the previous night in Albuquerque, this property was a newer purpose built facility. It was excellent, including very comfortable pillows. The staff at check-in were very friendly and made us feel welcomed as Priority Club members. They even had the breakfast started earlier as we mentioned we wanted to be on the road by 6:30am. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to others or stay there again if in the Rolla area.

If you are coming in at night, it is difficult to get to and your GPS may warn you about an unauthorized road, don't worry your okay. Very nice, clean and comfy beds. Bathroom had whirlpool and room had mini frig. Breakfast is nice. A little expensive compared to the other 4 HI we stayed and and not the same value per dollar if you are usinf your Priority points, so I did not use them here, even though I jhadd enought to do so. The is a great restaurant on the other side on the highway and just east, it' call Matt's. Good food and lots of locals eat here, so you know it's good.

Nice hotel. Enjoyed the hot tub especially. Beds were comfortable. I wished there had been a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Also, I noticed that the American flag out front looked torn and tattered. It needs replacing. Otherwise, it was great. I'd recommend it.

I am somewhat of a road traveler and have had more than a fair share of disappointments when it comes to lodging. Ever since I discovered the Holiday Inn hotels chain, however, I stay at one of their sites. Although there will be some differences between locations, they all offer everything I need: a well appointed, comfortable, safe and clean environment. The location of this specific hotel is very convenient to road travellers. The pool and breakfast are just frosting on the cake. If you intend to be in Rolla when school starts, book well ahead of time!

I travel to Rolla often on business. The Holiday Inn Express is a beautifully decorated hotel with comfortable beds, tasty breakfast and the friendliest customer service in town. I am a clean freak and my rooms have always been perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in the Rolla area. It doesn't get any better. Thanks for another great stay. See you again in a few weeks!

Third time that I have given this property a try. The leadership and staff at this location is all about making excuses. This visit, the room keys did not work. They gave me a room on the 3rd floor and I carried all my belongings to the room. Upon arrival, the key(s) did not work. Went back to the lobby with suitcase in hand and Sean gave me two new keys. Yes, you guessed it...my keys still did not work properly with the door controls being the problem. I did get in after 7 to 8 minutes. Upon entry, I checked out the room and found the remote not working. I thought I do not want to be stranded with this room for the evening. Went back to the front desk and Sean advised that their were no king sized bed rooms left. He said other guests have them booked and even though they had not checked in yet they had them guaranteed. It was only 4:45pm at this time and the hotel had 11 cars in the parking lot i.e. most of the guest(s) had not arrived yet. I said with a platinum membership that I thought I had a guarantee. I was being penalized for their room mistake. He put me in a queen room after many minutes where he told me he was busy helping other guests. This is the 2nd time of 3 visits with service issues at this location.
I requested and spoke to the general manager the next day. She went as far as to tell me that the room door key entry was fine....as if I was making it up. After conversing on the difficulties that I had, she told me that she was giving me 1000 points toward my platinum membership but not because of my problems but she pointed out only as a courtesy. She was very condescending. I stay at many Holiday Inns, to the tune of 65 to 80 visits a year, and this is by far the worst that I have ever been in. I do not recommend this location.

I stay at this hotel so often the staff recognizes me now...that being said, this hotel is consistently providing clean and comfortable rooms and the staff is amazing. The only thing that is somewhat frustrating is the time it takes to switch channels on the TV. Yes, that is the only thing I could provide constructive criticicsm on. Great place to stay!!

We had the kids suite for two nights and both of my kids loved it! The room was very clean & the bathroom was larger than expected! The staff was very personable & accomodating! The breakfast was filling & fresh! We would stay again!

We chose to stay in the Kids Suite since we have two little ones. My three year old was thrilled with the bunk beds and her very own TV. We were able to also fit a crib in the room as well. I just wish there would have been a door to the kids room. However, we brought a sound machine and it drowned out most of the noise. As far as cleanliness and hospitality, it was outstanding. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Day one our keys worked the first time. Day two our keys did not work, had to have them reprogrammed three times. Manager knew our room had this same issue recently. Ran out of toilet tissue. Rolls were very small when we took room.

The kids suite was great for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool, the in room internet, and the T.V in the kids room. The only thing my kids missed was there were no waffles for breakfest only pancakes.

Numerous annoying housekeeping and maintenance problems prevent me from recommending this property. There was only a half roll of toilet paper so we had to get more. The drain in the tub was clogged. The stopper for the sink did not work. The sheets were so rumpled so much that one wondered if they had been changed. Way too many problems for such a new and nice property. We won't be stopping there in the future.
