All of the staff here are very welcoming and always warm and have a smile on their face. I would, and have traveled extra to stay at this Holiday Inn when I'm Chicago.

We used reward points and were surprised to be given a king suite. Nice and roomy and quiet :o) Hotel was quite full so they set up an extra buffet in the breakfast area.

The staff at this hotel is as friendly and helpful as they come. The rooms are also big and clean and the free breakfast is better than average. The only downside to this entire property is the fitness center only has a few dumbellls with no bench to use them.

I always enjoy staying here each month. The friendly staff, ease of check in/out, and a quality hot breakfast are just a few things that keep me coming back. Amenities such as WIFI and an exercise room are added benefits that I look forward to. The quiet comfortable room ensures a great night sleep. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Again, this property is dependable every time I stay there.
It also seems like there is something positive to comment on after each stay.
I cannot reccomend a better place in the area. We are in the process of renewing an office lease (we have quite a few remote employees) based to a large degree on the quality and value of this property.

This is a Great Hotel, Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the facility.
Good rates and close to airport. Stayed two nights and enjoyed the whole experience; courteous staff and wholesome breakfast.
One of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels I stayed at.

This is my first review since becoming a Priority Club member in 2007. While being a Platinum tier member (since 2012) has been nice, I have found that most locations do not automatically give you upgraded rooms and in fact most of the time even after having to ask for an upgrade there are none available.
This place was different, they were prepared. When I arrived and checked in, they told me that I was upgraded to the suite (without having to ask). Upon getting into the room they had several snacks, 2 bottles of water and even a little bottle of wine set out for me.
They were the first ones to give me a complimentary upgrade that was truly complimentary and it would be nice to see others follow their lead. On top of the upgrade, they had a hot breakfast, workout facility with free weights and updated rooms.

The hotel is not flashy, not extravagant.
It's good basic overnight rest, which was fine for me.
It's clean - that's important.
It's a little worn, as it's older property.
The fitness center was suprisingly good.
Breakfast is consistent with with HIE
Wireless worked good.

I was very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. They made me fell welcome and always asked if there was anything I needed. The food was good. The bed was comfortable, the room was nicely decorated and very clean. I would definetly stay here again.

All of the staff provided excellent customer service from the time we arrived until the time we left. I particularly want to mention a gentleman who worked behind the front desk by the name of Albert. He was extremely helpful, and very responsive to all of our requests.
Updated, modern and clean rooms. Decent breakfast.

I love this Hotel! This was my second time here in four months. Initially I came alone - this time there were others with me. If you are in the area you need to stay here. The Rooms, the staff, the free breakfast, shuttle, and internet in the room...there is so much more including the awesome price that I could mention, but just try it for yourself!

I was excited to try another Holiday Inn Express property in Chicago. Upon my arrival- first impressions were great- a very nice lobby and a courteous staff as always. I ventured to my room and to my delighted surprise, I was upgraded to a suite. For someone that travels weekly-this is a nice surprise. I entered the room and got settled. I was just getting over a cold and excited to settle in. It was a very cold week in chicago. There were two wall mounted heaters in the room that were very loud, temp. could be adjusted but could only be on or off- there was no auto adjust function. I slept horribly the first night and the congestion in my head was unbearable. It was impossible to control the temperature of the room at any time during my stay. I asked at the desk and they said there wasn't really a solve for this. So, needless to say- my cold had returned, i had so much pressure due to the poor circulation in the room.
I was very dissapointed with the size of the shower, for being a suite, I wouldve expected a regular sized shower and not a stall shower. It was nearly impossible to shave my legs.
I've never stayed at a property with a stall shower.
The staff was courteous. Overall, i wouldn't choose this property again during my next trip to Chicago.

I'm on the road about 80 to 90 nights a year so I know that not every property is perfect. I was scheduled to stay at this hotel 3 nights. On my first morning, I ran the shower for several minutes and the water just wouldn't warm up. It was luke-warm and tolerable. On my way out, I mentioned it to Reenea who was working the front desk. She immediately made a note of my room number and the problem, she apologized and said she would credit my Priority Club account a specific number of points. Upon my return later in the day there was a note under my door once again apologizing for the problem and that the problem should be fixed. I should try the water and let them know if there are any other problems. The problem was solved.
The next morning, Reena stopped me on my way out of the hotel and once again stated that the points would be placed in my account. I will be back in the area later next month and will not consider any other property.

Flew out for training at a corporate office and stayed for a week at this hotel. Quite content with the basic amenities and the front desk jumped at the opportunity to answer any questions. Work out room wasn't top par but I just needed a run every other day so it worked. I feel I was well taken care of. I will be back for subsequent work and will surely stay here again. The balconies, even in 10 deg weather, were a bright spot for me. Beyond the normally mundane "room with a view" of a freeway. It was nice being able to use more than just a hotel entrance for fresh air.

The evening desk attendant, Ronald, was very helpful. I was not familiar with the area and he wrote directions to a local shopping area that I was interested in and gave suggestions for local restaurants. I couldn't have asked for better personal service.
The only con was that the main elevator did not work 3 of the 4 times I wanted to use it. There was another elevator available, but it was not convenient to my room.

1. Late Check-out Request
When I checked in around 4 pm on January 26,2013, your staff checked me in (unfortunately, I didn’t get his nametag). In spite of a late-checkout request made during an online reservation which is one of the benefits available for Platinum members, he did not tell me what time I could check out and did not mention about any benefits/facilities/amenities I could enjoy at the hotel as a Platinum member. I had to make the late checkout request on the next morning.
2. Elevate Not Working without putting an Out of Order Sign
On the next day morning during my stay, the elevator was not working. As mentioned above, I came down to the desk for the late check-out request. My room was on 4th floor and I had been waiting for an elevator for about 5 minutes and had to walk down to the lobby because I did not know that the elevator was out of order. Your staff did not put a notice “elevator out of order” not even after I checked out of hotel. I had to carry my suitcases and winter clothes to the first floor.
