As a Platinum member received an upgrade to a suite, which was very large and very comfortable. The extra Platinum member amenities (incl a small bottle of wine in the room) were very nice as well. Breakfast was typical of all HIE's as expected. Would definitely recommend this property and stay here again. Considering the overall experience, one of the best HIE's I've stayed at (and I have stayed at many around the country). January 3, 2014

The staff at the front desk, house keeping & food service are all great. They have done an excellent job keep the hotel in great shape and the guests fell welcomed. From the letter from the General Manger when I check in, you can tell that the management pays attention to the fine details and keeping the place well managed. Great Job! November 7, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Rolling Mdws HIE sets the goldstand I've stayed at many Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza worldwide. This hotel sets a gold standard for what a nice hotel should be. In this area, I stayed in a near by HIE few times in recent years (most recent was a week ago, 10/12~14, 2013). I thought that place was ok. But what a supprise when I arrived & checked in the Rolling Meadows HIE. It is day and night compare with other HIE near by. Here are few things I'd lilke to mention: - The front desk staff was very very nice & friendly when check me in and whenever I need help. - The facility was kept in excellent condition like those 4~5 star hotels. - Excellent location and nice view from the hotel room. From now on, this would be the only hotel I would stay when I visit Chicago area. Thank you. I will be back! October 24, 2013

The breakfast was very well stocked and there was a variety of thing to eat. I would have preferred that the ice machines be locate more conveniently than they were. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No indoor pool Our kids wanted to swim after soccer tournament and the hotel does not have an indoor pool. We were offered to go next door to the holiday Inn. We did that but at 9pm and its difficult when its cold to bring the kids outside to swim. I think the hotel is perfect but not if you want to relax in the pool after shopping or whatever with your children. October 17, 2013

My family stayed for 2 nights and we just loved it! The location of the hotel is really nice too! We're 1 mile away from a major mall and about 20 minutes away from downtown Chicago. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice to get an upgrade! This was the first time I ever received an upgrade to a suite just because I was a Priority Club member! It was a nice room, very spacious and really nice amenities. I think the property is a little confusing with the Holiday Inn by the street and the Holiday Inn Express in the back of the same property...stood in line at the wrong hotel before finding out I was in the wrong place. Also our GPS wanted us to take a left turn out of the property which is not possible, so that was a little confusing as well. Is it company policy to always have FOX news on in the breakfast room??? I'd appreciate a less biased channel. Overall a very good experience. October 8, 2013
