I would highly recommend this hotel if you you are staying in the Rome area. Very large and clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful front staff.

This was a pretty good place to stay during my time in Rome. The staff was the best part of the exprience. The issue with the pool and the foundation issues is a bit of an eye sore but other than that, my stay was well worth it.

The room was clean and spacious it was great for my family. The bed was so hard we did not get a good night sleep. The breakfast bar was not good. Food was cold and you could tell they reuse it.

We had a nice stay at the property. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The only negative is that the pool was closed during our stay, which I had not expected.

Friendly staff and great breakfast but have stayed here many times in the last few years and no pool to unwind in after a hot summer day. Other area hotels have pools and may get more of my business in the future. Really enjoy staying in Holiday Inn brand motels and do very often for business. Also being a Platinum Priority club member is not even recognized during my stay. Most other Holidayy inn hotels give something like a bottle of water and thank you for being a priority club member. Also many holiday inns offer some sort of managers reception at least one night throughout the week, some every night. But on a good note the rooms are always clean and the hotel is clean and always nice staff.

We had a wonderful stay in Rome, Ga. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast attendant kept everything stocked and everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return to Rome and stay here!

After being on the motorcyles for over 8 hrs, we were looking for a place to stay, Rome was the biggest city that provided a service with a name brand hotel. Being a ING Reward Club member, Holiday Inn Express was the first place we go to when traveling. With no reservation, there were rooms available on a Thursday night in a college town! With no nearby restraurants, we drove into the city for a late dinner. The staff asked us to park the motorcycles near the entrance, so they could keep an eye on them. It was much safer to put them at the entry than take up a parking space. The breakfast was awesome, we tried the new pancake machine, cool, push a button, pancakes drop onto your plate below! Breakfast bar was full of food, clean and large amount of seating. No traffic issues the next day for those who travel into Atlanta, we took off after a great breakfast and will continue to use ING hotels in the future.

The Holiday Inn itself is fantastic but they have damage to the pool area so it is closed and the parking lot is damaged. All the damage looks as if it was not constructed properly and is falling off the hill on the back side. It needs to be repaired. All staff members are super nice.

I am a Priority Club Member and I travel for a living, I spend 4 nights a week in a Hotel. I prefer to stay at the Holiday Inns but it is getting harder and harder to due so.
I will not stay here again due to the fact they will never give us a up grade on rooms and always increase the price, and by the way I always stay here everytime I was in Rome but know more. I have 7 other co workers who travel here and I have ask them also not to stay here anymore due to the fact this Hotel will not give us up grades . The parking lot is a mess with sink holes and the pool has been out of service for ever due to sinking.
The Hotel staff does a good job but the management team here would is not willing to work with the people who support the Holiday Inns
The other issue with the Holiday Inns now is the 24 hour notice you have to give to cancel the room. I don't even know most of the time where I will be in 24 hours, it was hard enough when we had to cancel before 6:00 PM the next day.
I will continue to stay at the Holiday Inns that treat me good but this is not one of them. Plus they will loose 7 more people.

i was in town visiting family. i couldnt have chosen a better hotel to stay dring my visit to rome. the hotel was very clean, beds are comfy, taff was very accommodating that includes breakfast attendant an housekeeping. the location was perect to everything i needed. i had a king suite and they even gave me a neat bag that contained plates, cups, plasticware, napkins, can opener and pot holder. its not something they hand out, your've got to ask forit, but its a cool perk. the breakfast was by far the best i've ever had at a hotel before! Between breakfast and the friendiness of the staff i will be staying here every return visit!!!

Hotel is clean and comfortable. There was some sort of problem with large amount of water in the driveway entrance. The landscaping near this area may have been under repair.

I have stayed at this hotel before and pool has never been in service parking lot is sinking off the side of the hill always standing water The price keeps going up but seems nothing ever gets fixed with parking lot or swimming pool. Feel Im paying for a pool and never see it in service since new. Joke I won't stay there again

I like HIEs and this was no exception. There wasn't a ton of parking, but the taff was really flexible about unloading luggage. Everyone was super friendly an the service was great ven though it was pretty clear the hotel was full and everyone busy. The breakfast staff was great. I'd stay again.

We had to fight to get the rooms we had reserved IN PERSON, not on-line, during a previous stay. Not only that, the manager was the person who entered the reservations into the computer that day! He had to move the female desk clerk aside to "show her how to do it". Best of all, the manager was the one who said he didn't have our reservations when we showed up!! The final straw was the bill that was given to our other party. They arrived on the 3rd to depart on the 5th #2 days#. The bill was in our name #not theirs# and was charging them for 3 days #not 2#. They tried to get the bill and the charge account corrected before they left only to be told by yet another desk clerk that "I'm sorry I can't do anything about this until I speak with my manager." They left all their credit card information, contact information and what exactly was wrong with the hotel bill. Now, four days later, we are charged the full incorrect amount for their room, the manager is conveniently "not available" and can only be reached by voice mail. I'm betting he doesn't check his VM often because the message says to "leave the date and time you called in your message". Hopefully we'll hear something today but until then I'll just let the credit card company sort it out on my behalf. Best to stay at one of the other two hotels located on that street.

Due to straight winds and stormy weather, we lost power (which did not return until 1:30 am) and had to find somewhere to stay because my husband sleeps via a breathing machine.
I called Holiday Inn Express and was able to get a room. The male receptionist was very helpful and responsive to our needs. When we arrived, he was again very courteous and professional. He offered additional assistance for us and explained the things we needed or might need to know about the hotel, breakfast, internet, etc.
The room was excellent, much nicer than expected. Thank you for ensuring that your hotel is clean, in very good shape, well kept and maintained, and a very nice place to stay.

During the storm I felt safe and secure. Did NOT have the problem I have had at other places of hearing my neighbors above me stomp across the floor. All were pleasant and welcoming from beginning to departure. Thanks, I will be back again, Lord willing.

Since one of my customer is located nearby, I stay here several days per day. It's a new hotel, the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast choices could improve, also the walls are very thin, therefore it's hard to get a good rest if your neighbor is a snorer.
Nevertheless, if you stay in Rome, this is your place.

Very nice property with a great room lay out. Sitting room with flat screen TV very updated bathroom and a nice bedroom with anther flat screen TV. Very comfortable bed and the place was clean. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

I am a Priority Club platinum member and have been for many years. I have stayed at many HIE locations and would rate this one near the bottom. When I checked in, they gave me a standard room. I asked if they could upgrade me and they informed me that they couldn't. I then asked if there was something available on the top floor (I am a light sleeper) and they said no. I asked if they could look into a move as I was staying for 6 nights and get back to me, which they didn't. Saturday night I was kept up by the group partying next door. I found the walls didn't do much in the way of stopping noise. The night before I was going to leave they couldn't find my laundry and there was a mad panic to find it as I was leaving first thing in the morning. It arrived around 8 pm. I use the stairs instead of the elevator and for my entire stay, they were covered in mud. There are other hotels in the vicinity that I will stay at next time.

My husband and I are from Atlanta and stayed at this hotel Thanksgiving night. When we entered the lobby to check in we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness. The lobby is very attractive. We were able to check in about 3 hours before time. They have a variety of goodies for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. GREAT STAY!! Will be returning.

The hotel staff was most accomodating. At check-in the clerk allowed me to view rooms on first floor prior to deciding which room was best for me and friend with adjoining room request. A second employee was most helpful with directions and recommendations for dinner. Greeted by staff as we entered lobby on mutliple occasions. Loved the comfort and style of furniture in the room and common areas. We enjoyed watching football game in "theater-area" of lobby. Very clean!! Kudos to the management and staff for maintaining a great property. Will definitely stay here on future trips to Rome.
