Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fair Our recent stay at this particular location was below average. The room was nice except the bed was very uncomfortable, and the room service was pushy. The shower head did not work properly and it was more a hassle to shower there. Room was very hot even after turning the hear off. Housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times before 9am to see when we were leaving. Not only did they knock three times but they did not understand what i was saying... February 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Early check-in while stranded I was stranded at O'Hare due to snowstorm Nemo, arriving into Chicago on a redeye flight. I called the hotel and they indicated a room was available early morning, and the shuttle service was convenient. Wedding parties on Saturday nights can be a bit loud, but the service, room upgrade and early check-in were more than enough to convince me to recommend the hotel. The food pantry, fitness center, and mattress were also pluses. February 13, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk is a desaster Only one very slow staff member at the front desk. It took us 40 minutes to check in, which is unacceptable since we're priority club gold members. If it wasn't for the location, I seriously would have never consider going their again. Other than that, the breakfast is the usual Holiday Inn sausage and eggs and the hotel cleanliness is good. Every time I travel to Chicago I plan to stay at this hotel. The staff is one of the best. During my last stay in Jan with cold weather conditions I kidded the front desk staff about going out and warming my car up as it was before 5:00 a.m. and zero temp with major wind chill. The staff came from behind the counter and asked for my keys and which car was mine. NOW THATS Going the extra mile. (I did decline and say thank you) February 1, 2013

Our eighth-floor room was surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the landing pattern of O'Hare. I arrived in the evening and had to wait a long time at the desk as there was only one man at the desk and several people waiting. The couple ahead of me had some sort of problem that took a very long time to resolve. There should have been more desk clerks; however, the room appeared to be clean and the bed was comfortable. i was most impressed with the shuttle to the airport the next morning. January 23, 2013

Then we took the hotel shuttle to the hotel. The next morning, we took the hotel shuttle to the airport, a quick 20 minute ride. January 22, 2013

I went to the front desk 4 hours before scheduled check-in time and asked if there was any way I could check in early. Cecelia found a room ready for me! The evening staff guided me to a great restaurant just around the corner and the morning staff was excellent as well. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast very good. Although the hotel is very close to the airport, I must say they have sound-proofed pretty well. I don't remember hearing take-offs or landings. My experience at the hotel was the best part of my brief trip to Chicago. January 19, 2013

We had a flight out of O'Hare on 12/23 and were concerned about driving in bad weather so we booked the "late checkout package" for the night of 12/22 since our flight wasn't until 6 the next day. We also took advantage of their long-term parking since the rates were very reasonable and their shuttle runs frequently. The beds were comfortable, the pool was a little chilly but we still had a great time, and the breakfast was excellent. January 9, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by New Year's Eve We where really excited to stay at this hotel. I checked the reviews and everyone seem fairly happy. We where not greeted at the door when we first entered. Which we are so used to from a Holiday Inn hotel. When we opened the door to our room we where hit with the overwhelming smell of dirty wet carpet. Also the heater was not working correctly. One thing that we where happy with was the baby crib they brought to the room. Our baby enjoyed sleeping in it,. Also the breakfast bar was not very good. The food was cold.
