Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible desk staff All started with getting to the room and the key not working. Brought key down to get reprogrammed. Desk person seemed troubled that I asked to have it done with no apology it didn't work the first time. Day 2 reported that the laundry machine wasn't working. No refund for money lost or even an offer. Had nothing to do with $1.50 but again an oh well attitude from the desk. The breakfast area was a mess and not well stocked so went elsewhere and never took advantage of free breakfast. Room was ok and beds were in good condition but anywhere else I have been (travel 30 times a year) there has never been such a poor handling of small issues with no resolution. July 8, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and nice Holiday Express This is one of the nicest hotels we stay in. We travel across the country and overseas and this is at the top of our list for an affordable, clean, top notch facility. They have easy check in and out. They give you a free daily newspaper for the local news and another for the world news which I think is a very nice addition. Their rooms are very nice in size and clean. The bathrooms give you room to do more than turn around as so many seem to be. The beds are comfortable and they give you two pillows for each person so you have a choice of firm or soft!. Their breakfasts are outstanding with everything anyone could possibly want. I can't think of anything to complain about and if someone does have a complaint I'm sure they would be very helpful in curing the problem to the best of their abilities. This is a very nice place to stay! July 3, 2014

Could not sit in these chairs for more than a few minutes. Internet went out during peak periods; repeatedly received the message of "too many sessions are active"; was told by staff this would be fixed "later" but it was not. July 2, 2014

Would stay again and would recommend to others I only checked con for recognition of IHG rewards club member because there wasn't any recognition upon check in or check out. in the past they have always given each of us a bottle of water and recognized that we were members but didn't this time. Not that important to me but i would think that your company would want them to recognize this otherwise why make an issue out of being a member? July 1, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly a great experience The room was clean and comfortable, and I was happy that there was a chair to relax in. The staff were all very helpful, but no one could provide me with shuttle service. I ended up taking a taxi at a cost of $30! I might consider renting a handicap room next time, because I felt very vulnerable using the shower, due to the slippery bathtub and nothing to hang onto. This is an annual visit for us, but we will be finding another hotel next year because of the bathtub. At least put some non-slip stick-ons in the bottom of the bathtub! June 26, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice large room I stayed here for a long weekend to attend event at the State Fair Grounds. Location was perfect for that. There is regular train traffic that woke me up a few times each night, but I tend to be a lighter sleeper while travelling. I had a room with a Jacuzzi tub (didn't use because it looked a little gross). Furniture is old and needs replacement in my room of 418. The bathroom was clean but needs need tiles and tub replacement. Breakfast was good and overall, I was pleased with stay. Front desk recommend Sarpinos Pizzeria for delivery, so I did. The food was fantastic and delivery was very fast, I think 20 minutes on a Friday Night. Go Online to order to get a discount. Worked perfectly. Also, if in the area, eat at Chianti Grill, they have top notch dining, Italian food. Very close to hotel. May 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maybe again Hotel lobby and eating area was nice. I needed to print a presentation and boarding pass. I was unavle to do so as they were having a problem with the computer. The gentlemen at the front desk did offer to reimburse my cost from Kinko's. The room was very large, however the walls were thin and the room next to me had their TV so loud I could not sleep. I did call the front desk, nothing changed. Finally at 2:00 am they shut it off May 13, 2014

It isn't the most convenient location for where I do business while in MSP, but I'll still go out of my way to stay here. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total Chaos Prior to booking this room, the website indicated free shuttle service within a 5 miles radius. The training site was within the allowed distance, so I booked the room. Upon check-in, I was told by the front desk worker, that the shuttle only ran certain nights to certain attractions. I took this issue up with several employees, who were all very unprofessional, and each blamed the other. My bathtub was a jet tub, which did not work and was not very clean, and the tub didn't drain. January 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Roseville at Xmas Hello We stay at this property quite frequently. As always, the staff is very gracious, knowledgeable of the area and so very helpful. As in the past, we have had difficulty locating plug in's to support computers and other techy stuff that requires plug in's. This time there was an additional table top plug in for a port and two plugs. It did not work. We used the plugs in the bathroom. There was no desk in the room...there was plenty of space of one. The bathroom is getting a bit tired.. But look, overall, we like them or we would not stay there... Perhaps a tweak here or there would help the guys like me who bring computers, IPhones and the like to the room. I am a fan....however. This property just needs some tweaking in the rooms for Business and Computers. Thank you for making us feel at home Happy New Year See you soon. Jim Riepe December 28, 2013

I need white noise to sleep but would rather not turn off the heat to do so. Turn the heat on and you get to listen to it cycle on and off all night long. December 18, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rewards Night disaster We have stayed here before and have enjoyed those stays. This time we used Rewards Nights and were put in the worst room ever. The bedding was thin, the room was run down, needs a "face lift." We will stay again, but, if we continue to have the bad experience, we will find a new place to stay. December 12, 2013
