Alarmclock set to wrong time Phone buttons not properly identified or working Guest room extremely loud -- could hear everything from tv and conversations going on in lounge and room above us. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay very good making reservation nightmare Everything about the hotel and staff was great. Trying to make reservation was almost impossible. I have neither the time nor patience to elaborate but suffice it to say I talked with three different people at the reservation center and the information provided by each was very different. The only reason I pushed ahead and stayed there was because all participants in an event was staying there. I expect to stay at a Holiday Inn Express in the future because I like it and it meets my family needs. HOWEVER I will never try to make a reservation again. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall good experience It's a good property but a bit dated. The walls are thinner than expected and noises travel - mostly from the upper floor. Not a problem unless you need to sleep early. But put on the fan blower and you're all set. January 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Hotel Really Takes Care of the Guests This isn't one of the newest Holiday Inns, but it is located well for anyone active in the north east Detroit area. The staff endeavor to be personal with the guests and insure that you have everything you need during your stay. Frank at the reception desk makes an effort to greet guests by name and does very well for someone who deals with so many people on a daily basis. During my recent stay there was a significant snowfall over night and when I went to my truck I was surprised to find that the General Manager and Maintenance staff had actually gone out and brushed off the windows of all of the cars in the lot. You definitely don't get that level of service at any other HI where I have stayed. Please keep up the great work and I hope that you have an empty room for me any time I am in the area. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NYE We stayed here again this time for New Years Eve. Again, staff was super friendly and energetic and knowledgeable. Noise levels were sooo terrible, but obvi we didn't complain cos it was New Years Eve, and there was some teen party going on in the room next to ours. Even though sleep wasn't to be had that night, what we heard was fairly entertaining. Not the hotels fault. Had an excellent time, thanked the desk receptionist and headed back home! See you soon! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Customer service The manager was excellent. We had several small children with us and multiple adults in our party. It was a last minute trip and they did an excellent job getting our rooms close to each other. He was very helpful with directions to a local pizza place. The breakfast was more than adequate and tons of choices for the children. January 6, 2016
