Usually I choose Holiday Inn Express locations because I can depend on the quality and service. I have been an IHG Rewards member for years and this is the first time I've been able to book a room using points. I was excited because I am relocating to Boise Idaho and this stay was my sister's and I final road trip to our new home.
It's expensive to move cross states, so using points was going to save me some hard earned money which was going to moving vans and dump runs
My reservation was confirmed as a two queen room. I have the email to prove it Perfect for my sister and myself. We had cleaned up our rental all day and were looking to collapse into clean beds and a deep sleep
When we got into the room, there was the ONE bed staring at us. I called the front desk to let them know that my reservation was specifically for two queen beds
The young lady just said "oh, we are filled up tonight and there are no two queen bed rooms available. Do you want a roll in cot?" I am a patient person but it took a lot to hold myself back.
My initial feeling was - this is how we treat members who actually use points. We give them the left over rooms. So did reservations just overbook all the two queen bed rooms and bumped my sister and I 'off the plane' because we are reward members who used points?
I've never been so disappointed in both how a clearly defined reservation could be changed without notification and then be disregarded by the front desk. How can a hotel show a type of room as available then when the customer shows up ...suddenly all those rooms are already taken. Doesn't the reservation system take the rooms off the available list once they are booked?
SO DISAPPOINTED in this location. It was my first and will be my last time I stay here.. I still love Holiday Inn Express but this location lost a customer this night
And no... we don't want a roll away cot, thank you very much.

HIE has reclaimed the trust put into their name for so many years. The beds are just so comfortable and a choice of soft or firm pillows, nice touch. The free breakfast is outstanding and is the thing I look forward to upon awakening, good choices, freshly made and plenty of excellent coffee.

This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and was pleasantly surprised. Leticia at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Check in was quick and easy. Fresh cookies in the lobby. My room was clean, smelled fresh, and internet was fast. Good water pressure in the shower. I had a king size bed...it was ok but the pillows were great. Good size fridge in my room too.
Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be staying here again.

This is the best holiday inn Express we have ever stayed in. Every aspect of the hotel and accommodations meet our needs. I especially want to thank Shem for his thoughtfulness, efficiency and seeing that all our requests were met quickly and appropriately. he is a credit to this company and demonstrates what service is. We will definitely return to this particular hotel when we are in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room was clean and bed was firm. Suite amenities included microwave, mini fridge and reading area. Spacious room for two.

Great overall. Stay, Markus was great as front desk employee. Only very small issue was WI-FI. It tended to fade in and out at times, but overall it was good. I would highly recommend this property.
