Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very caring staff My spouse had originally booked the wrong night for the start of our stay online. We contacted the Holiday Inn Express by phone and the reservation was changed to the proper date. Using MapQuest and GoogleMaps, the driving directions to the hotel are very confusing. Call ahead and the staff can give you an easier route. We did extend our stay for the balance of the weekend as we explored the Austin area. There's plenty to do in Round Rock if you don't care to spend all your time in Austin. February 26, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by visit in Austin The room was very quiet, but found food crumbs as in potato chips under the ottoman. Felt the shower area was smaller than most of the Holiday Inns. We felt the price was a little high but Austin is normally higher than the rest of the state. Our biggest criticism is the new changes of the Priority Club as we were fond of getting bottled water along with our priority points. If the changes you made, you must really put a better than excellent rating in all areas or most people will stay elsewhere where the customers loyalty is responded to. February 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay and friendly staff The front desk, I believe her name is Frances, was very helpful and accommodating. She made our check in easy. She is an asset to the Holiday Inn. We were pleased with our room and service. The breakfast was a nice surprise - very good. The only negative comment I have about our stay is that the bed would creak every time I turned over and I only weigh 105. Need new mattress maybe? Other than that, everything was great. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were dirty and food was old I have never had a bad experience at a holiday in express however this hotel was dirty there was hair is all over the bathroom the breakfasted they offered for free was still in old I even go to Greek yogurt that was rotten and expired I had to throw it away I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would not stay here again February 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience It was a very comfortable stay. I was most impressed by AGM who was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. I was in town as my brother was very ill in a nearby hospital. I had relatives come into town at the last minute when he took a turn for the worse. The AGM was very helpful and was able to get them a room when the hotel was near capacity. She made it easy on us. Every time I went by the desk she asked about my brother. All of the hotel staff followed her example and were friendly and helpful. I hope to return under better circumstances. Thanks Ms Lesak. February 17, 2015
