Everything was good about this hotel, but to me the bed was a little uncomfortable

The customer service that was extended to me by your employee Ruby went beyond the normal customer service required. The company needs more employees like her. Her customer service made my stay more enjoyable especially since I was there due to death in my family. However, there's an employee that works with the breakfast staff that needs help with her customer service skills. She lacks the skills necessary for customer service.

my stay at the HI in Ruston was fine, no problems. Beds are very comfortable. The staff is great and friendly. I've stayed there exclusively for the last three (3) years on business.....

Initial impressions were good - check-in was fine
The stay went down hill from there
The wifi was on and off
The room was very noisy and dated - no convenient power sockets
The vending machine on my floor I think you could hear outside
The way the staff were watching at breakfast made me feel very uncomfortable
After a great experience at Holiday Inn in Baton Rouge I was very disappointed

This is not a typical Holiday Inn Express experience. Far and away over priced for a hotel that is in dire need of an upgrade.

Good clean hotel, nice staff and I would stay again. make a reservation for the best price. I had a canceled flight and returned back to the hotel after checking out and my rate for a walk in was substantially higher than when I booked on online. Had I known it would be so much higher when my flight was canceled, I would have booked another night online.
