Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable place to stay We stayed at this hotel because we had a Rotary Zone staff training at the hotel the next day. The service was great, the room clean and the breakfast consistently good. I realized that walking to get around was not an option. There was a good restaurant that the staff recommended,, located almost next door. But to go shopping, I needed a car to drive. September 16, 2013

Using a walker, I prefer to be on the bottom floor as I can't walk steps. Because of a shortage of rooms he finally upgraded me to a suite, surprisingly at no increase in the room rate that was quoted to me. Thank you August 23, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HI Express At Sacramento Airport/Advantage Way We got there late, our reservation was held for us after we called ahead. We were hauling a trailer with us and the front desk suggested that the parking lot at the motel next door had better parking. We did find one remaining place in the parking lot that it fit in, but the parking lot is not very big for the size of the hotel. My husband went to the breakfast buffet, and the scrambled eggs were so dry around the edges he thought they would bring fresher eggs because there was only a small amount left (although he went in the middle of the time allotted for the buffet), so he had a muffin and waited. He tried to ask the person who looked like they were taking care of the buffet if there would be more eggs but the person did not apparently understand his question. So we went to a local restaurant for breakfast. This HIE site was significantly more expensive than other HI sites. We had traveled to So. Cal. and had made reservations at the place we normally stay, HIE in Westley, CA for our return trip; but had made contact with a friend in Sacramento so changed our reservations to Sac. However the price was significantly higher. August 20, 2013

I enjoyed watching the interactions between the two soccer teams that were staying there at the same time. The teams were a double handful, but the staff remained calm and professional at all times. Clean, comfortable plenty of parking not much more you could ask for. Much easier flying in and out of Sacramento and driving to Napa than fighting San Fran traffic. Cost effective as well. There was nobody attending to it. As a result, there were severe shortages of food that should have been replaced as the trays emptied. June 4, 2013

She was more than helpful and straightened out a problem I had with my priority card membership and she was so personable and attentive to all our needs. I love this hotel. It is so convenient. We stayed here for our daughters graduation at Sac State and was just perfect for our needs there. This time we attended a meeting in the meeting room there and it was so large and comfortable for the needs we had that night. Woudl I stay here again? The answer is an unqualified for sure! WE also really appreciated the early breakfast service. We had to be on our way by 6:30 and having your breakfast open and available by 6 worked out perfectly. Thank you! April 12, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Van to airport and lack of amenities We had reserved a van to airport at 4:15 A.M. but van had battery trouble and we did not leave hotel until 4:45 A.M. which made us have to rush through airport to make plane on time. Also, there was only one bar of soap in bathroom and no lotion. The breakfast bar was opened early which was very good. However, it only had a very limited menu. The price of this Holiday Inn Express was much more expensive than most of the Holiday Inn Expresses that we have stayed in. April 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and quiet. We stayed a couple of nights and we had a great experience both days. We were in the Sacramento area for an NBA game and the staff was very helpful by giving us advice on how to leave the arena and arrive back at the hotel after the game. The only problem with the stay was when we returned from the game there were no parking spaces available at the hotel and had to park in a restaurant parking lot next to the motel. Overall a very enjoyable stay. March 2, 2013

Eventhough we arrived there on a major concert night that was going on a couple of blocks away. The hotel was booked full but it was clean and the staff courteous and helpful. February 11, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missed obligation I use this hotel due to its ability to house my car while I am on a business trip. As such I normally need early morning wake up calls. During this last trip I did not get the wake up call I requested and luckily woke up on my own. I know it is my responsibility to get up but at the rate you pay for this hotel a wake up call is not that much to ask for. February 10, 2013
