Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thank you Our family had a mini-vacation visiting family in Saginaw, attending family reunions, outings and kids fun at Kokomos, movies, shopping etc.. The staff at Holiday Inn Express was great. Services were prompt and breakfast each day was great. Any issues (more towels needed) were addressed immediately. Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel at home and able to truly enjoy our vacation. Our kids were in the pool from open to close! lol July 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed Why post signs in your hotels that you can't live up to and will only make you fail? "If you can't rate us a 10, tell one of our staff. This is funny because you do not train or give your staff the authority to make a decision other than try to throw points at them. Had to move to five rooms in two days to get a decent room. First move came as A/C froze up and stopped working, 2am. Second move was shorter as we were moved into a single king that was to be a double queen, staff thought/was surprised to learn it was a single king how does that work? Third move was into a double queen that was full of stinking smoke from smokers, which I was not going to move my wife and girl into only to be the ones who would be accused of and fined for smoking in. Had to go back into single king with a roll away bed that staff said they would throw in at no charge, REALLY!! I would think that would be a given!!!! Why the roll away because the pull out sofa was so hard and uncomfortable much like the roll away bed was! This was not what I was being billed for by the way! No I was paying full price for a double queen. Oh, staff before doing anything asked could they give me some reward points. At 2am I didn't care about points I cared about getting my family into a nice, safe, secure room. Didn't get points but we sure got a free of charge roll away bed. now the rom we ended up in was tacky the bed skirt was torn in two places up to two feet long and was just hanging to the floor. Replace it! The lamp in the corner was missing its lamp shade, just tacky but a simple fix. All this sets the impression for the rest of the stay. In the moves we lost a soap dish and bar of soap. I asked the staff to find and they of course said they would and would notify me. I was never notified though I went by three times in two days, even filled out a lost item sheet on my second visit to the desk. I was never notified which surprised me. I should have been told something, anything! Say what you do and do what you say!! If you can't than communicate. So, again why put up a sign if you can't or won't come close to living up to it? Why set yourself up for failure? More importantly why set up your customers for failure? Which makes me think why am I rewards customer with you? Why should I take a chance with my family on you again, why? So yeah, Disappointed! July 16, 2015
